Well, since your m.atack does not count that much now, I'd advice you to try +4 WIT / +4 MEN / -8 INT. That way you'll have 36 INT which is not that bad, since Light elves got 37 if I remember well :P
As for the third tattoo, even if you're assisting you summon with melee wep, you could try +4DEX -5 STR or +4CON -5 STR. You wont be dealing too much damage now anyways, but well, with OEd duals dunno ^^ you can wait for this last tattoo and put it when you're higher and when assisting your summon with melee weps will have not much sense :P
If not, you can always put +5 Wit/+4 Men/-9INT
Hope it helps a bit even if I dont play any summoner ^^
Don't touch your int. Despite what people say it IS a stat you'll end up needing. Especially if you intend to do PVP or anything end game.
You'll want these tatoos for sure
+4 wit -4 Men
+4 con -4 str (this one don't worry about too much since you're actually assisting the pet. As soon as you get this one you hit like a kitten with scurvy)
After that there are 3 options for your 3rd tatoo
+1 wit -1 men (this is what i have. I really like the extra speed)
+4 int -4 men (this is what i will get someday, but no int mod is not bad at all)
+4 dex-4 str (again you'll hit like a kitten with scurvy so it hurts if you are used to dealing damage but the run speed is very nice. Most warlocks i know have this one.)
Actually if i may choice, i`d choose:
+4int -4men (increases m.atk.)
4+wit -4men (increases cast.spd)
Atention: these dye u can buy only from manor.
And the third.
That`s what u should choose. If u want be a powerfull mage, take +1int, if u would be a fast mage, take +1wit.
I'd leave your STR alone, if you feel you are dealing good damage now and nerf your STR when you become increasingly unimpressed by your own damage.
I've been playing a PS lately, up to 56. I've borrowed a pair of +10 tsu*sls, and I kill a mob at virtually the same speed as my soulless with same buffs (not quite as fast now that I got a new soulless, I'm guessing - I haven't played since I hit 56). I know +10 is not comparable to +6, but I imagine you're dealing ok damage still.
Sure your Int helps you land debuffs, but that is minimal next to your casting speed and mp/ mp regen. You need casting speed and mp a whole lot more than you need Int to land debuffs. At lvl 70+++ Int is crap for a PS.
The last tat you need to wait until about 66-70 for. You have some decent duels and still do good damage now, so keep your STR. Later though, when soulless's damage puts yours to utter shame, you will need to give up the STR and get some DEX or CON. Personally, I go for DEX as it helps me kite players better while the summon attacks them from behind.
I think you need to set your priorities. You can't have it all. If you are not in PvP and solo a lot with your summon, I would suggest a +4 WIT/-4 INT and maybe a +3 STR/-3 CON. If you are doing parties more often than solo, the +STR/-CON is not really needed. If you PvP often, then you need to consider something like a +4 CON/ +4 DEX/ -8 STR and a +4 WIT/ -4 MEN.
you don't need the men. I solo constantly, often with soulless and still never run into mp problems. Problems come from debuffs not landing and forcing me to heal more If you solo a lot and don't pvp then yeah a + str tat is not a bad idea but - int IS.
With the phantom cubic you should not be wasting MP on debuffs while grinding, thus "Int" is pointless until you are 76++ and start to PvP seriously. Even in the catas with 4x HP mobs, Soulless plows through them so fast it is a waste for me to windshackle every mob, especially with the phantom cubic helping out.
Unless your high enough that grinding is no longer a priority, get rid of the Int and increase Wit and Men. Atleast Wit if not Men. If you want to leave Men alone, go for +Str/+Dex and -Con.
Nessesary tatoos are totally dependent on what level you are and howe mush PvP you do in porportion to grinding.
Phantom cubic is sporadic in landing and against many mobs you won't have sufficient time for it to land to do real good. Starting with wind shackle guarantees a reduced damage to you or your servitor as well as whatever your cubics do. keep in mind there's a 2/3 chance phantom doesn't cast wind shackle and besides that it has a relatively low land rate compared to wind shackle.
How do you guys see the PS tattoo set-up chaning if the rumors are true that we will be geting Death Spike in the CT2 update? I would think that then the nerfing of Int would be highly inadvisable. Does the addition of this nuke change anbody's view significantly?
changed mine alot, got rid of -9 int, and as for being a rumor its not anymore. seen a screenshot from the korean pts, which i didn't save >< but still enough proof for me.
