Honestly, as Ashley said if you have Brig or whatever you'll probably be okay. Full Plate is nice and it looks hella cool, but unless your are tanking in catas or something you can probably skip it.
Blue Wolf and above is where people really seem to have fun with their armor.
I used Brigandine till 48 and Plated Leather after that until I got my Zubei.
But anyway I strongly suggest to always wear what looks best on you - no stats can make up for looks! (^_^)

I second what Kikkilatzi said. If you can get ahold of a composite helmet that is a great set for C grade. The extra weight capacity helps a lot with the DE's low con.
Hmmm how cheap is "cheap"? :p I'm on Hinde to and will need a C heavy set soon as well.
Well, I offered it to him first. If he doesn't want it then you are next. we can discuss the price but it will be cheap. Not like other players who feel like "cheap" means lowering the price by 100k adena.

I have to say, I've bee playing this game for 4 years (actually a bit less with breaks, etc) and the stuff that you pile up in your warehouse which used to be so valuable is now a hindrance.
Besides, my wife and me started playing at the same time, and my first officer is a pretty girl as well (and a good thing that is too: men are just not reliable! ;) )
Some say we have quite a few women in Mirage.. sometimes I doubt it, they're the most hardcore gamers I've seen, the moaning and whining might be fake too. Hmmmm..
JCRides, it turns out that the other individual (who, funny enough I found out was in my alliance!) wasnted the composite so I sold it to them.
However, I am still using C grade full plate until A grade so let me know when you hit C grade. If I am done with it I will give you a cheap price for it.
Sovrath, no problem :) I've actually been rethinking the BD anyways. I'm leaning more towards a Glad and they don't have the carrying capacity issues that BD's do lol
Dynasty breastplate, gauntlets, boots and helmet for armor. I do appologize though, you are a BD and since there is no mammon there will be no high lvl duals.
