Must have Macros?

Are there a must have macros you guys use? coming from other games I know there are macros that everyone use that make life much easier. Also there are class specific macros(in this case, Gladiator). Are there any?

thats about the only macro i've actually found useful thus far, lol

One I have in almost all my melee chars is target next.

The assist macro is clutch for a melee.

The pickup macro is pretty good to have too since for some god unknown reason it speeds the slow as hell pickup times.

Target calling is also a "must have" macro for anyone PvP'ing.

Forceattack as has already been said too.

Other then that, not alot. Buffing macro's, Armor switching macro's, weapon set switching macro's, uh thats about it eh?

Great guys that was helpful. The /target <your tank> and /assist macro reminds me of EverQuest that should definitely save me lots of clicking.

How do I make a Pick Up macro? yeah my pick-up button is too slow its irritating. What is a /forceattack? does it make you attack players?(Ctrl+attack?) if so, do you have to repeat it on every attack or would it go auto?

/use skill (what ever usefull skill you will like 2 use like spoil)

I target my self first in the marco for the times when it's only one target and you already have it target so it won't attack cause it can;'t next target. so it's really a fix for a lot of things by having it target you first.

Pickup macro is pretty simple. Just drag your pickup button into the macro editing window two or three times and save it. Put it down instead of pickup and spam it. You'll notice you pick up a little bit faster.

Forceattack is attacking players yeah. Yes and no about repeating it. On skill usage yeah, once you start swinging normally your fine if you dont move off/etc. Adding "force" at the end of the macro will make it PvP capable vs whites. I.E. /useskillforce <skillname>.

Target calling is used in PvP, to let your group know who you are targeting. Mostly used by the target caller (main assist). Its a simple.... "Kill %target!" or whatever other little saying you'd like.

I have that for my Buffer only I fill up the macro with Pickup and just hit it every time I have a nice build up of loot on the ground.

Why would you do that?

Make the assist macro, set your G15 or Nostrom to hit that # or F key or whatever on the bar, now you dont have to have your mouse sitting there 24/7.

You can freely look around, zoom, do everything else.

Only time you should be having your mouse sit is when your crafting shots since you have to have the mouse button on the craft.
