On another forum, a player posted that there has been code on the server for airship docks and the like for at least an entire chronicle now... so apparently NCSoft has been thinking about it.

Is it open to the public? This would be the first ever event with NC that I could actually attend.
Edit: Wait I take all that back, this isn't TImes Square in Manhattan, its times square in some Berjaya place.
On another forum, a player posted that there has been code on the server for airship docks and the like for at least an entire chronicle now... so apparently NCSoft has been thinking about it.
Apparently, from what I was told, they had mentioned flying ships when the game was in development.

Rune has had the balcony sense its been in place for air-ship docking. what was that like C4, C5? so well over a year now.
maybe they will have 3 up dates a year in Korea but we'll still be 2. Still haven't even seen Kamael +, and its been what 4 months sense its been live in Korea?

I think blimps/airships/whatever are a little weird too. Oh, and for the record (for people who want to read what's not there...) I think Fantasy Isle is stupid too.
Unless the airships serve a real purpose, I believe they'll probably go the way of the current boats once the novelty wears off.

there is way better things that Ncsoft could be doing.
As far as the MRT. I don't like (many people don't like) my (their) chat spamed repeatedly by NPCs. I never see anyone use the race betting system, cause it never works in their favor.
The MRT arena is too small. The only redeeming factor is its free to port to from any major town, which makes it fairly nice for trades, and quick buffs for fast PvP ganks.
Its would of been a lot better if instead, NCsoft made the coliseum free to port to from any town, and made them instanced, like what they added to fantasy isle.

LOL, who told you that L2 is medieval? Who did tell you that fantasy have to be medieval? ;) Yes, with all the giants, technology and etc. If anything, L2 is steampunk. :)

You can see they had IoP in mind too, and ofcourse capes... (somewhere on the internet i saw early development screenshot of L2 with a PC wearing a cape), something they didn't implement because it would raise the minimum system specs... wonder when they will add it now tho...

There's blimps on FI already, you just can't do anything with them. Also, let's face it, the Lineage franchise was the biggest MMO in the world before WoW.... it's silly to think they wouldn't try to use (steal) some ideas from the game that deposed them.

Doesnt work on Orcs. Orcs are too tough to be killed by sound alone.
