I'm new to the game, and I've been wanting to play a silver ranger, will I have trouble making money with this class? I've been annoyed playing as a dwarf because I don't make money.
You will not make enough money to sustain yourself just by grinding. And that pretty much applies to all classes. Do quests and manor, those are the two best ways of making money while grinding, but they might not be enough.
-There is a balance between leveling fast and making money. You can tip the balance to one side in expence of the other. For example, at low levels, if you want more money (but will result in slower exp), you can try killing green mobs without using shots all the time. Say hit once with shot, the rest without. That will make you use more MP, loose more HP and force you to sit down often to regenerate. But you will end up earning more than you spend. This is not so good technic from 45+ because mobs tend to be harder.
-Manor as Ashely suggested. Read about it, learn to use it. It is not easy, sure or safe but it can bring a steady income.
-At higer levels you need to learn to play the market. I don't think there is any other legit way to equip yourself. But you need to have capital for this. Save your money. Earn more than you spend is the all-time golden rule.
-Play more than one character. Playing just one character will get you nowhere. Have one ore more alts (prefarably spoilers) and have them spoil and manor (even at low levels). If need be delevel them. They require a small investment in equipmen,t but can help you a lot specially to get your C and B grade stuff.
From experience you will find the manor a little more difficult as a SR because you are a ranged attacker. At lower levels I suggest keeping a dagger in you inventory for this purpose.
