You don't need a ng crossbow. A ng pole is more advised in order to level up faster.
You don't need a crossbow to finish the first class change quest, which requires to be lvl 20, ie D-Grade. At D-Grade you can exchange D-Grade weapons. And you get coupons for low D-Grade weapons too, so you may take whatever kind of weapon you want.
And lvl 20 to 40, Female Kamael isn't only specialized in crossbow, you can still use rapier if you want a bonus from masteries.
There are no No-Grade Cross bows. And only 1 No Grade Rapier that's not even worth getting if you have money for top no grade weapon.
Kamaels just use the standard no grade weapons.
Kamaels don't even get the change weapon skill till after 1st class change and it only works on D grade and up weapons.

NG bows or crossbows are useless.
hmm well when i equip a grade D weapon or armor i get a penetaly, cause i'm not lvl 20 yet? and when i tried to use said item i don't do any damage, so idk what ur talking bout? :(
Yes you need to be level 20 to be able to use D-Grade weapons and armors without a penalty.
You need to be at least lvl 40 for C-Grade, lvl 52 for B-Grade, lvl 61 for A-Grade and lvl 76 for S-Grade.
As I said, if you can't affort a top D-Grade weapon when reaching D-Grade (lvl 20), you'll get weapon coupons from your 1st class change quest. With these coupons you'll be able to get a low D-Grade weapon of your choice (including a crossbow). They are limited in time of use but you get 15 coupons. That should be fine to start with and save for a better weapon.
Crossbows require bolts of the grade of the weapon. D-Grade and C-Grade bolts are available at the Grocery Shop. For higher grades, you'll be able to exchange arrows for bolts at the Blackmarketer NPC. Arrows are craftable and also drop on mobs.
