Make money first to play Gladiator or just play?

I want to make a gladiator, but I were to, should I make money first then play gladiator or just wing it with a Gladiator?

I have a lvl 30 scavenger and a level 13 (making artison) in the works right now, wondering if I should just wait to make the gladiator.

Any advice would be helpful, thanks.
three words for you:

Manor Seven Signs.

put 'em together and what have you got? bibbity bobbity bibbity bobbity bibbity bobbity BOO!

making moeny with ANY character is fast, cheap, easy, and can be done in party when done using Manor seeds on Catacomb mobs.

any seed 10-21 on field mobs, then inside cata MOST seeds work fine for making money, particularly Mithril, Silver, and Iron, and Oriharukon.
cool, female gladiator or male look better? I guess male since I have one at lvl 26 already? the female one is lvl 8 or something.
What server would help too.

If your on one with 4/5 AA per 1 Adena price, you can rake it in even more and likely hit 20+ million by 40 without too much trouble if you do manor in cats and sell AA as spud said.
I play on gustin
From my expierience you can't combine fast exping and money making. Mostly you have to chose one! At least when you are solo'ing.

But yeah... use manoring and 7signs... the cash is good and the XP isnt bad. But manoring takes always a bit longer... when solo'ing I do 2-3% less during one buff round then without manoring.

And there is always a market for AA selling...

Level the scavenger and spoil everything till lvl 75 then Sub Glad :p
The low scavi offers you some options. And without a doubt the glad will be relatively expensive.
Their armor and weapons will be pricey and they bleed soulshots.

Take some time to review spoils cause even at low levels, depending on mat prices, you can make some adena.

Manor plus catas is good. Spoiling what is most lucrative is good too.
There is "some" base mat that will sell for a premium on Gustin (idk which--I don't play there). Perhaps it will be animal bone, perhaps iron ore--etc.
You can spoil any base mat at multiple levels with some degree of success. Find the mob(s) that spoil those and go hunting. When you need a break from that, go into catas and either manor or spoil.

Until the glad hits 40 you'll find the exp a bit slow (though not so much compared to that dwarf--they are about the same).
Certainly your scavi can generate some extra adena. Study and learn!
