now many will say cuz its the coolest toon, i love to spoil/craft/make good amounts of adena, it has the best emotes, the female dorfs look cute as a button, it looks awesome to hold a 2H-Sword/Blunt on such a little toon, etc. etc.
but let me hear something specific that really makes you log in day after day to grind on a class that majority of the L2 community just shuns.
my reasons are:
.i like playing as the little dude (i should know cuz i rerolled to a BH, after retiring my 73 gladiator, talk about being a fan).
.i like the fact that male dorfs are old in appearance but powerful and can take a beating at the same time, plus when they are decked out in heavy armor, they just look awesome.
.i like that a bounty hunter is the most simplest class to play but at the same time one of the most FUN.
.just the sight of a little dorfzor duking it out with mobs 4x its size is a funny sight.
.when people do try to grief/gank me and are unable to kill me cuz of my junk carrying capabilites, its a good feeling, i might not kill u, but at the same time u will get very frustrated.
.a dorf subbed into anything is just the most wonderful thing in L2.
.if you ever get the chance, compete in open OLY, and i guarantee you that people will stop by and observe the match, even though they know the outcome of it, its just a priceless thing to witness.
.lastly, when you in a party, doing your spoil/sweep, the party atmosphere just feels fun.
.respect to all the legit BH/FS/WS/Maestros out there that do what they do.

I can be as cute and as annoying as I want.
I do love the way I look when killing just about every mob ingame. I do have a few favorites: Bugbears for instance. *itty bitty girl beating the youknowwhat out of something huge*

well i find my WS too much fun in market and in the field... course if i could find a group more often... ie i actually look for one...
plus while i like other chars... like the SH i have up to lvl 52... they just seem to end up grinding ... and if i'm grinding i may as well be on my WS :)
course nothing is funner than hammer crushing stuff and killing it before stun wears off...
.because i have a big family of alts and by the game mechanics my dwarves need to be the highest levels so i can craft gear for the others
.crafting something specific is just like a quest so I make my own quests
. The challenge of it. Anyone can spam there kill macros. But as A Miestro imo it takes alot of thought,skill, luck, and tactics to win pvp's and olympiad matches.

Also the level 80+ Skill that the WS gets in the next update (basically WarSmith's Final Form that has no cool down and can be used at anytime over and over again) that's way over powered when it comes to PVP is proof they don't hate dwarfs.

NCSoft gave 1 skill, and at lvl81 (so easy to reach for dorfs...) !!
Don't forget that maestro will need to fight epic boss to hope having the spellbook...
And for FS, there's nothing. Not even S80 mats/basic mats to spoil at HB. And you want to make us believe that NCSoft doesn't hate dorfs?

So that they don't have to use the private craft shops to craft their shots, they have more sell/buy slots, they have larger inventory/warehouse and they can carry allot.
The many that you see are alts or bots...only maybe 1% of them are mains.
Not everyone in HammerStrike play the dwarf as theyr main.
The things you say (the things I mentioned) they are usefull for are to sit in town sell/buy stuff and as a WS I get hit big time by all the WS alts that sit 24/7 in Giran with underpriced craft shops.
We are useless when it comes to PvE and PvP...unless you get a WS to lvl 81 which will take 4 years to reach or lvl your dwarf with a Great Wolf that eats over half your exp.

i like crafting so haveing a char that can do so is nice :)
but after all when it comes to PvP were seriously underpowered, we are counted as a warrior class but if you compare us with other warrior classes we lack skills that can do damage. our main attack type is stuns, but our stuns aint good enough imo and too few and lacking a ranged stun. with the change to blunt masteries we do have a really nice stun chance once it triggers, but waiting for that to trigger might cost too much.

Nah, dwarves are the easiest to play because they don't have that many options! It's just that they are frustrating because everyone else does things easier and better. Like getting a party, damage dealing, crowd control (though a good dwarf is one hell of a stunner!).
svii, u may know that dorfs are hard to paly coz no party for them. did u even see me in one of your party? answer : never...
it's easy to play coz lack of skill, but hardest to xp coz lack of parties.
That was my point Aghen ^^ However there is a difference between a good dwarf and a bad one, especially in PVP.. Ask Skelleton how he was actually not targeted last, healer stunner :p

I still make mistakes on my 74+ WC
Like I have been using Light Armor from the Beginning. I took some advice and went with heavy and hated it. didn't go with my play style at all. Now I'm back in light but always low on SP becasue I dump so much into Heavy Mastery. :(
Because dwarves at least get good money quests and can buy stuff but orcs had near nothing and she kept dying.
The earliest quests who was in game, ORCS had the highest and easiest money making quest of all actually :P but granted this have changed over time.

as for playing a dwarf hard? No not really probobly easiest class in game to play, only hard part about the class is that it's tiresome like hell to play longer passes as there is ZERO variation on it, the same thing you do out and in and no change from that.
Why I play the class? well I cannot really say why, there isn't exactly to many aspect of it I like when I think back about it.
All I can say is that it felt nice to hit subclass level with it, but then again all this effort for nothign now when they nerf subclass next patch... and switch main to my sub is.... like 100% of the efford wasted.
Never really tried that, but it was the common understanding that the orc quests were the best. I made a lot of money from those back in the day on my first char (Tyrant)
