I seen a GM once, i was out near the beast farm, me and ethell. I was planting some tommaterrrrs, next thing i know, here he comes naked as a jay bird. i said dont look ethell, but it was to late she done got a free shot.
next day ethell left me to go look for that naked feller. i guess his cucumber was bigger than mine.
If you see ethell tell her me and the kids miss her.

So no one that plays this game thinks that GM's might have a regular toon? A little less conspicious than running around with the "=name=". Is that not a possiblity?
Of course they do, Miykael for example, wasn't exactly a "gm" but he had chars on Kain. There were rumors Mistryl was in some big alliance on Erica or something, I think. Think they'd be in a ton of trouble for talking about it though.
it's because people in general are stupid.... paranoid ******** that tend to... if they were to find out... that a certain player was a GM, if they are on thier side.. they tend to tout about it, and figure they can get goodies for it.... and if they are on the enemies side, tend to raise [censored], call the game a farce... them cheaters.. write letters to ncsoft about such a player making the game inballanced something more rediculious...

Being an official gm is like being a celebrity which imo is stupidity in itself... Why must everyone stand around asking them for stuff all the time.... There should be an instant kill button for all gms... that if any players ask for anything, they are emediately killed with quadruple the xp loss...
I've never seen them point and instant kill anyone, but Omega would spawn enough suicide Dragon Bombers in town on the PTS to kill everyone in close proximity. XD
Probably the best way to deal with the begging, or at least the most entertaining.
I'd love to see more ingame gms. I remember once in Gustin they appeared 2 mobs in giran and they dropped rice cakes.Was funny. They had a like 100 people train behind em.
There are probably less bots and more players on asian servers so it's possible to do it.

They can detect only afk botters. Great. I sure hope our GMs have different methods.
It's not hard to figure out various commands considering the use of the unreal engine made heavy use of the console command system.
/target kill would be the likely ability to kill someone.
/target bighead
/target loaded (give them everything, making them incredibly overweight)
/summon "monster/person/NPC/Item/Weapon/Armor/etc."
/god
fairly simple.
Course it all depends on how the developers incorporated the codes..
Some use a * to provide a wild card or a higher command.
