You would think that buying goods from a town with a tax rate of 10% would be better than from another town with a 15% tax rate. Think again! Check out the Tax Rate Evaluation Chart to determine the cheapest town to buy goods from NPCs. Soul ore was material used as the comparable item within the chart. The tax rates from each town can be found within the map options in game at any given time. Fine Print: Be sure to work in the costs of teleport fees before traveling around for the best price.
This chart comes in handy for saving up the adenas bit by bit... especially for large shot crafting and whatnot. Take a look at it and make sure you know exactly which town is cheapest... don't be fooled by mere percentages!
