ok whats with the xp cost upage, I notice playing a noob char today that power strike, and punch cost 60 sp to start instead of 50, relax armor and weapons cost 190 instead of 150 whats with that?
I finally hit 79 on my mystic muse and even with getting skills only essential to the class I did not even have enough SP to get one of my three 80million sp skills. I'll be 90% into 80 before I'll be able to get raging waves (150m sp).
you will have always lack of SP's until you enter a clan with active wars or start using SP scrolls. another option is to suicide at guard until you de-level once or twice and go on further. you can say you die much while exping etc. yeah, effect of death with 0% rez is same if you suicide at guard. :p
Playing a Soul Breaker makes it impossible to learn all normal skills up to 49 (where I am right now). Looking at things, I'm short 500K SP already to learn all there is to learn...
Strange... I got a lv64 Phantom Ranger and the only skills I don't regulary update are Posion and Drain Health (lagging behind 1 max 2 learn curves), all other skills are maxed out and still have 2mil SP left. Yeah I died a bit in the early 20's and the early 40's but the SP acquired during those levels isn't much...
Also my lv62 Elven Elder doesn't have SP lack. I haven't learned Sleep tho and the Light Armor Masteries and atm after learning the lv62 skills and being at 50% I got almost 2mil SP, okay I deleveld once a full level to do a raid boss back in my lv20-30 days but as mentioned the SP in those level ranges isn't that much.
My EE and WS had no SP problems, but my tyrant is lacking alot of SP...so far I have added 2m SP with scrolls and I still lack lots of SP for skills (I guess I don't die often enough :p ).
No offense but having enough SP at those levels doesnt really matter at all. On my TH I had enough SP to get all of my skills up to level 78. Thats where I had to get 5% into the level before I could get all of the skills. When I hit 79 I was 34m short of my first skill..
That also depends on how good a pvp'er you are. The classes with multiple 78/79 skills and the 150m sp it takes for the lv80... still gonna be way short until you're well into the level. Whereas the classes with fewer of the high sp cost skills might have less of a problem with it.
You guys realize there is a really really EASY quest gives 42k SP as reward and its repeatable right ? It won't solve problmes for lv 50+ but till 49 you be good. I am lv 40 have all my skills i mean even those I don't need and 1.5mil SP to spare. I did the quest maybe like 15 times.

I have done the quest around 300 times on my BH that holds a small clan to get 1.4m SP so that I can rise it to lvl 4. takes 15-20min per time to complete.
It's not entirely the players fault if they are short on SP. Towards the end of C4 my prophet was approaching level 76 and due to the hundreds of deaths I'd had since Prelude, I had about 20 million SP to spare. However, once C5 was introduced there were tons of new skills added for prophets. There is a certain SP allotment for each skillset, and the cost of each skill is divided out between them, so if the allotment for the skillset is 64 million SP, and there are two skills then each will cost 32 million SP. Trouble is, I had already learned every single skill for my prophet 1-75, and had paid full price for them. When the new skills were introduced, the cost per skill went down to accomodate the fact that there were now many more skills to learn per set, but older players who had already paid full price for everything got screwed. Overnight I turned a 20 million SP surplus into a shortage that still lingers towards level 79.
To make matters worse, I learned Prophecy of Fire at a cost of 32 million SP back when hierophants only got two skills at level 78. When a third skill was introduced the cost per skill was reduced to 21.34 million. That phantom 11 million skill points just vanished into the ether, never to be seen again.
