Help!! Won't Give me Mastery Skills book

I want the Mastery skill... but instead I have got two emergent skills books and one special skills book, and I can't get the Mastery one. The way it was posted it sounds like I have to get the skill from my 70 skill .... and yet I get an emergent skills book and not the mastery one..... Now I'm being told I can even exchangge, even though I haven't used the book to get the special skill.

There has GOT to be a way to fix this. The 75 level Rogue skills are useless to me.

Do I have to get this Special Ability... get it removed by paying 10 million... then get another book? I need an answer. Not going to spend 10 mill uselessly.... The Special Cat will not let me exchange a special Rogue book for a common rogue book either

The instructions are VERY confusing

I've made pettiotion already bit no answer so far.
Same problem, for lvl 70 sub, I got emergent cert, when it should be Master.
I wish they gave us boosted subs on PTS...

This is the way this was presented in the patch notes:

Subclass Level 80 – One possible skill you can acquire: Transformation skill that is determined by your subclass

So, the Master Abilities are available at subclass level 75. Are you saying that is the one that isn't appearing for you?

Well, somehow I understood that the Mastery ability was the level 70 skill (didn't look to see i got the Emergent book twice).... so I got the special ability book at level 75... which I don't want. It offers nothing to me as a healer, btw :)

No I thought master cert is for the lvl 70 sub. In that case with 3 subs over lvl 70 u have 6 emergent books and 4 optional skills.
For lvl 75 (with 3 subs) u get 3 books and 8 optional skills to enchant.

Emergent Abilities – Physical Atk., Physical Def., Magic Atk., Magic Def. = 65+70 lvl

Master Abilities – Attack, Empower, Casting, and Focus =75

Wizard Abilities – Anti-Magic, Mana Gain, and Mana Steal =75

Ultimate Skill – Transformation: Divine Wizard =80

That's how I read it too. I don't know why they couldn't have written that like you just put it.

The Magical Abilities is a level 75 skill... so you have to choose Common Skill over Special skill book then. The instructions are REALLY misleading.

lvl 65 and lvl 70 are both emergent skills

lvl 75 can be either master OR special, depending on what you choose (master=passive skills with more choices like casting speed, special=class specific skills like mana steal or anti-magic for nukers)

If you chose the wrong one for the lvl 75 skill, it seems that you actually have to learn the skill and then remove it for 10m, and then go back to the grand master for the subclass and get all three (65,70,75) skills again (the npc removes ALL skills).

The event description says "We are offering players a chance to exchange their level 75 subclass skill certificate for another one of their choice. Players must have a level 75 or higher subclass in order to participate in this event. The Subclass Certification Helper who can help you with this exchange is located on the second floor of Ivory Tower, next to Avant-Garde."

But even with the lvl 75 subclass certificate in inventory, I was given no option to choose from at the npc. So I see no other way of exchanging that skill than to fork over the 10m.

Well, this is not good. Their instructions are nebulous at best... and maybe a contract lawyer could figure it out.

Nope, I can confirm my friend who is going to law school managed to mess this up too, so dont feel too bad about yourself.

The event cat trades the special book into any other special class skill book, but you have to trade it before you have used the book to learn a skill.

It's not the Special class skill book that I want. It is the Mastery skill that I want.

Is it possible to destroy the book in order to claim the one you actually want instead if you have not yet used it?

They book cannot be dropped or destroyed. If you picked the wrong one you need to pay the 10 million to remove all the certifications, then get the correct book.
