I petitioned during the first hours of server uptime about some boats... I still haven't gotten the reply so that i can petition new ones. You understand this -very- annoying.
Should not have to petition about them if there were some gm's actually doing their job >.<
I've petitioned 3 times, and have not received a reply for any of them. Something's wonky with the petition system. The same spammer that has been there since launch is standing in the middle of TI village still, completely uninterrupted.
Don´t petition them just kill them.
Is a new server and you are starting a new char. So what the problem going red ?

That would be a good idea if they would "perma-die" - there's little to no point in killing non-graders (also can't use the shadow weapon while red). Plus that guy that's standing in the village.. Can't really kill him.
Well, I don't play anymore but 2 guys I work with rolled new toons on Luna. Infested with the dreaded farmer trains already.
That's why people left the game and will continue to do so. No live support for a 4 year old game. Clinging on to straws springs to mind.
Face facts, with AOC around the corner and WAR in the fall, AION expected Q4 this year also I fear an exit from the already dead NA servers.
And every last single one of them new games you named will have BOTS. :p

There is a small amount of gold selling but notjhing like the amount in L2. Im not nocking L2 because I love the game, just the way it is run. A GM could iradicate BOTS in a day. But then NCSoft would loose a hell of a lot of revenue my friend!!
All games have bot due Lazy [censored] holes that can care less about playing the game the right way. Farmers want feed off the weak (people that Buy from them) and People on a Power trip (they really weak in real life) want to lvl fast so they bot to be uber. :p
I think that they should atleast stop spammers in newb towns because for me thats just as annoying as a train of bots on your lvl spot. Pretty obvious that a character who spams 3924535 lines of text every 5 seconds is not a real player.
On top of that just think of new players in L2.. You get to the first village and some russian bot is spamming that he sells cheap adena or something lol I would just log off and never play L2 again <.<
I did mail them directly and with some ss attached. Still nothing, and i did it also previously and nothing happened. I remember 1 bot train in EV i reported all day long every day and still they were there 24/7 for moths till they moved to other spot :(
And on Luna, if i there would be space and mobs to lvlv let's say you can ignore them but when a mob spawns 10 nukes come in the same time :). They made trains even in the start room at gremlins :). So Luna is impossible to play on and NC doesn't seem to do anything. Same old automatic reply with "if we can prove beyond reasonable doubt ..."
People say "no support for a 4 year old game".
That's not an excuse; there are games out there just as old or older and with more players (or at least the same) then L2 and they have a plethora of active GMs and "actions" taken to clean the game of scum.
It's just they don't care, and they can say otherwise but without success..

I just dont get it why they do nothing against so obvious bots, for example those who stand in TI and flood the chat <.< Doesnt take a long time of investigation to see its a bot in that case...
