Master Tomas Secret :)

Ok here is the secret to finding toma:

00:00-00:20 Little Island Mines
00:20-00:40 Abandoned Mines
00:40-00:60 Mithril Mines
LOL - if that was true...
nope
that's incorrect...

i've proven it over and over again that toma moves in a random way.... he has been in the abandoned coal mines for an hour sometimes.... sometimes he goes to one place and then leaves.. and the next interval goes back..

sometimes he hasn't even been one 1 of the 3 places for hours.

One time i had to GM 3 times before they took a look at found out that toma wasn't even spawning at all.
Hmmm i thought i read in patch notes that Master Toma is now static.
I had to find him for a BH quest on Wednesday evening of this week (after the promotion) and he wasn't static and was still porting. Had to wait about 20 minutes for him to arrive on the Island and saw him port in.
So despite any notes, he is still not static.

Changes to Existing Quests

The second class transfer quest reward for all races excluding the Kamael (Dark Elf, Dwarf, Elf, Human, and Orc) has been increased.

The soul crystal stage that is possible through the quest Enhance Your Weapon has been increased to stage 15. You can absorb the soul from the boss monsters Beleth, Antharas, and Valakas.

Isle of Prayer - While obtaining a stage 14 soul crystal from the raid boss Baylor in the Crystal Caverns, you can now attack Baylor with the “Good Crystal Golems” and still obtain the soul.

The level range of the Repent Your Sins quest has been increased to level 85.

The reward for completing the Arrogant Search quest has been changed for the Kamael. (All other races will receive the same item reward according to their class.)

No changes on Toma
ahhh...its very confusing with all these patch notes flying about...i thought the ones i just read are for the new release....but they are for the next release... crazy stuff.

Its because he gets drunk ALOT and has to sleep it off before he can figure out how to port to his next spot.
He's a tricky little devil!
1 alt at bottom of coal mines, 1 alt at mithril mines and you can figure out where he is :)
This whole post is missing the point that has been raised time and time again.

Without interrupting his availability (immediate respawn), it should be possible to kill Toma in the game.
This change has been requested again and again officially by the THC* and continues to be ignored.

With all these chronicle updates it should be possible to program this one, little change. We WANT to kill the little snot!

Guys i have tested it over and over again in CT2 and this is the schedule. They corrected it ok. Just try it before you say it doesnt work
I've played a Dwarf. And their is only one true proven method in finding Toma....

Sit your dwarven butt down in one spot and wait. :)
Erm.... you are talking to a group of people who, collectively, have leveled more dwarves than you have fingers and toes.

I have leveled up 4 dwarfs to lvl 40+ (2 WS and 2 BH). Toma is spawning in random locations.

btw we are still in CT1...Hellbound was just a minor update to add the things that got left out in Kamael.
CT2 is called Gracia and we won't be seeing it on our servers any time soon.
wtb someone to ******* toma... paying well... :)

hopefully he IS that regular in gracia...
You could have just been lucky and have him do that at those exact times once, got 2 dwarves up (1 bh & 1 ws), because i didn't want to warp around all the time i once sat down on the island in the water, and it took 5 hours (long live tv, and the internet) before he appeared there.

While making us feel so much better about things, this still wont help. The little rat will STILL port his [censored] around the countryside.
Just dont make a scavvy/BH until next update xD

LOL thats what I did when I lvled my dwarfs, I acaully fell asleep in my chair one night waiting for him, waking up 5 hrs later just in time for him to port out >.<
Finding Toma is a right of passage. Making it easier is sacrilege and should be avoided at all costs. If you don;t have the patience, dedication and testicular fortitude to find that fat pile of garbage then how can you ever expect to make a name for yourself later!

For the love of God, go back to you "other" type of server - we are currently in CT1.5 - and the patch notes for CT2 Part 1 (in PTS on the Koren Servers) clearly state that Toma is now in one place.

PS - I need two hands to count the number of dorfs I have raised - and just did another one the other night.. your schedule for the live servers are wrong.

testicular fortitude

lol :p Nicely put.

+1

It's actually part of the story with Toma. He uses a teleport device that you need to take back to some other dwarf.

Having said that, it's still a pain in the [censored], i've yet to find out where his Mithril Mines spot is after 4 years and 6 dorfs :p

That one is easy. He's right at the North entrance. (On the steps under the entrance arch as it were...) Just take the (Eastern?) Coast port, then turn around and run up the road to the mithril mine. If you go through the Coal mine to get to him, you have to traverse the Mithril mines to get to his entrance!

how can you ever expect to make a name for yourself later!

Somehow I did and NOT in a good way (hence a 9 mth break from the game xD)

anyway its mostly the adena costs that kill people, Adena is already hard to get in this game LEGITLY! let alone spening a fortune trying to find a dwarf that spontaniously appreares and disapreas on you.

Um, what are the female players supposed to do?
the end of the third class change for bounty hunters should be to bring in toma, dead or alive....I mean they're bounty hunters, that's what they do.

Toma getting perma-rooted is a Korean Chaotic Throne 2 patch note...as such we won't see it (if it stays) until 4 to 6 months from now at the earliest.
