Demon Wind, Aura Symphony and Elemental storm are kinda useful in a tight spot or in PvP as 'finisher' nukes. They cast a lot faster than hurricane or death spike, and hit a LOT harder. Of course they take 250 mana and have an insanely long cooldown, but..
Seed of Wind as others already said, is a 10 minute self buff that gives +20 wind attribute, so that's a rather nice damage boost for all real nukers. It also costs 250 mana.

thanks ;)
I have to disagree with the statement on mp consumption on seed of wind. Seems like every time i cast this it takes 200 mp?
Still says 250 MP in the bar though? Maybe its wrong?
But yeah Seed of Wind is useful. It adds 20 Wind Attack, so if you have a plain weapon with no elemental attribute, it's like applying the first wind stone (which gives 20). It stacks of course. I have 50 Wind P.Atk on my weap and 70 with Seed of Wind. Can one shot every single mob in FoTD other than the Requiem Priests, and 2 shot the IoP stuff. So in conclusion, it's nice.
As for the other changed spells (the big damage ones), yeah they good for PvP and raids and that's about it. Actually Hurricane does more damage than the Elemental spells if you got 70 wind patk. Demon Wind does heaps though cause it's wind-based.
