Last week's poll concerning your favorite features of the European Collector's Edition stayed pretty well balanced. The soundtrack snatched the prize seconded by the Kamael figurine. If you've kept the game muted for a long time now, you should really try out the in-game music. New tracks have actually been released every major update now. It's a shame that we can't readily access these tracks outside of the game. Even if they sold the soundtrack separately, I think it could do a good job of selling. I know I certainly would buy it separately.
Oddly, the full poster and vintage map got no votes. Sure, I could understand the map (I've found that real maps for virtual places are just hard to deal with anyway, or maybe I just don't have enough desk space), but the posters are nice decorations. I guess it was just so easy for the other items to catch more interest, and they definitely would be for me personally.
Now moving on...
This week I'd like to cover the "Luna Situation". Thus far I've heard many of the Luna players give various takes on what it's like to be on a brand new server. The first reports were that it was like Open Beta and that the newbie towns were filled with players and shout channels incredibly active. That phenomenon should have calmed down a bit as the permanent Luna players are weeded out from those who just tried the server for the heck of it.
I'd like to know what you think of situation, and I suppose that there has been enough people to have actually tried the server to know (if you haven't just vote 'I don't care.') Is Luna a re-creation of the old days of Beta and Prelude when everyone was low level and in the same areas? Is Luna a new beginning --- to be different from all of the other servers? Is Luna doomed to the fate of the other European servers in being very very populated, and consequently a vulnerable market for illegal activities such as botting, and adena ads?
Vote in the poll (http://l2vault.ign.com) and let us know today!
