Ok what gives My main is BD and Im suppose to hunt in IoP for a SB that has a 1/30000 chance? common now.
a suggestion for NcSoft, Lower the drop rate on the F/S. Scrolls, Add more mobs to the lists and make the ones that are raid boss only one drop from regualr mobs thats kinda unfair to those that arent in the clans that do those raids. unless of course you want to see more REAL bds complain more.
Also why are some drops higher then others imo the F.S. books should be the same rate or close to the same rate accross the board not one increadibly stupidly hard to get like Dance of Blade storm, and the raid only books.
As we know Baium only spawns once a week give or take, Anthars the same, both ONLY give 1 (ONE) book that means for the 5000+ players on those classes only 10% of them will ever get the skill. not really fair imo. Please do something about the drop rates, its rediculaous.

that website didnt reset their database when hellbound launched so the odds you see are a result of say 10000 observations during ct1 where the sb didnt drop (cause it didnt exist back then) and 300 observations during hellbound where the sb dropped once
the 81 spellsbooks (the ones that drop off the bosses) are supposed to be special so I dont mind them being rare. Besides I doubt there are 5000 players in NA that are lvl 81 and need these spellbooks.
PPS dance of blade storm ... I get about 2 of those for each 1 fire stone so the drop rate aint really that bad
I went out and was in party with a dagger for about 3 hrs the other night, Not 1 drop from the mob that drops it and we were killing pretty fast.
I know that site isnt 100% accruate BUT i have found that its accurate enough.
Maybe NcSoft should add thier OWN dropcaulator/drop list save alot fo people headaches
PS F.S dance of blade storm is selling for about 100mil on Devianne so you cant tell me that the drop rates suck. And I was useing the 5000+ players as an example, I dont even think theres 5000+ non botting toons on any given server now adays.
yes and gate chant sells for 300m, you go to dino island and get one gate chant book drop an hour. I m not getting your point? Dance of Blade storm is an easier drop than CoP for example ... in 3.5 hours I got 6 dance of blade storm 3 firestones and 1 cop

Wish I could just give you one. I get so many while hunting for firestones. Not to mention all the souless out there that don't even bother to pick them up.

The drop rates are decent. Every time I go to IoP for an hour or two, I get several sws/bd scrolls. Like the poster above said, the drop rates on that particular web site were not reset, because all that was added in this update were the new forgotten scrolls. So the drop rates on pre-ct1.5 stuff are still pretty much correct, but the drop rates on the scrolls have yet to "settle in".
Its not about being "fair" or about everyone of a given class having all the possible skills for the class. Some things should be rare and valuable. Those who have the ability to get these rare items are then better than those who do not.
If every BD had all the BD skills, we would all be alike. Some think that everyone being the same is a good thing. I don't agree with that point of view.
The world isn't 'fair' and L2 shouldn't be either. I don't know where the silly idea that everything should be 'fair' came from.....perhaps from a popular kindergarten teacher. It is a harsh world we live in and a harsh game we play. If you are good you succeed.
i found this SB for my BD. this dance is 15-second party UD against archers. you receive 10% of archery damage, but your matk decreases like of the same rate. i think this is useful in mage parties to get a moment for urgent heals or make attempt of free target's buffs removal. :p it's quite useless for PVE purposes like the new SWS song.
a question about the books that drop at the Witch cata
is the mob that drops them the crypt guard or guardian?
i saw at the other unnamed website that it is the guards, as it is written above, 70lvl mobs but i couldnt find them in Witch :s
