Just a quick easy way to make some spare cash. This can be repeated 7 times, every 7 days.
Step 1: Make sure you have free slots to create new characters.
Step 2: Create a Dark Elf Mystic
Step 3: Do the lvl 1 quest and goto the Isle of Souls
Step 4: When your lvl 2 do the "Supply Check" quest and receive your wooden set. Sell the set and buy bottom Robes for casting speed, keep the helmet/boots/gloves.
Step 5: Level outside on the keltirs till your level 6, you should be able to 1 shot all mobs without shots.
Side Note: Get your newbie Staves from the Newbie Guide.
Step 6: At level 6 grab the "Head for the Hills" quest from the same person you got the previous quest from.
Step 7: Level 6-11 Level in Strong Hold I, return to the Quest npc and get your money (Don't trade in for items) and your Newbie Spirit Shots. Continue the quest.
Step 8: Level 11-15 stay around Stronghold II and continue to do your Claws Quest.
Side Note: You should be around 50K by now, you should not be buying anything.
Step 9: Now that you are 15, head over to Talking Island, grab the quest "The Ranchers Plea" In the northern territory of of Talking Island. Hunt spiders from 15-19 remember to return to town for buffs every hour.
Side Note: Turn the Spider Quest Marks in for Healing potions rather then straight adena, you can vendor the potions for more adena then the quest will give you. Or you can sell them to players cheaper then shop.
Step 10: Now that your 19, return to town do your racial quests for your weapons etc, anything you can vendor for cash. Do your class change quest (optional) and then at 21 do your Quest for your 105K.
Side Note: You should be around 250-300K now at level 21. Repeat steps 1-10 for more adena. Then level your main use your shadow weapons till they run out, and you should be ready to buy your D-grade.
Then make a dwarf artisan, get to level 20, buy D grade items from giran npc, crystalize, and sell crystals. Do this when you're sleeping so you still make a little change when you snooze.

Its a good idea but on the new server Luna people are selling crystals for like 550a each so making money off crystals are minimal :)
On Luna each time I tried a way to make money I found someone to undercut me.
My last try was selling GHP 2500 I found someone selling them 2000 and even 1500 which is silly when aa is sold 2:1 but I supppose some clans are struggling to get a CH.
However the best way I found so far was to get a pole and hunt with it as it saves a lot on soulshots and I get decent income.
it's better if you have some more advanced WS. i think, lvl 62 WS is good enough. it makes you possible to craft anything form a-grade and you can craft s-grade shots. well... you can sell people d,c,b crystals just from shops. i don't know how it's profitable, but it seems worthy with current prices here.
Also keep all mats recipes you'll find until d grade and sell them later in a player shop. Some of them like steel or leather will give you a very good amount of adena.
Adding on to Toms quest, the feather quest on Kamael acaully pays more then the Guard quest on TI, when I figuered the feathers out it was about 250a per feather and the feathers are 100% drop.
Also the Golems jsut inside Normils Cave drop potions and they also have a tendancy to drop a full drop every 10-20 mins, so theres a good revenue there as well
I jsut oulled to lowbies from lvl 1 to 20 on nothing but kamael island and walked off the island with about 1 mil a piece.
with the feather quest though, Dont hod onto the feathers, the more you turn in the lower the reward, I would turn in the feathers whenever you return to town for buffs to maximize the reward.

This applies to just about every other quest in the game where you 'accumulate' stuff and the max is unlimited....rewards go DOWN the more you turn in. Despite quest text that implies an increased reward the more you turn in, the exact opposite is true. (There are some exceptions...)
For the most part, most of these quests are sub-20th level ones. With a few later ones.
This type of reward behaviour is horrible and should be 'Fixed'. It's hard enough making money in this game at all levels that outright reducing rewards goes beyond 'hard' into outright sadistic.

QFT
at the moment, the magic number is 10 items gives the best reward for the effort.
either raise the exponential growth of the rewards per items or just increase the flat rate of each item
Yea I've been doing the kamael quests the whole week since I have no money (I'm on Luna) and this is pretty ******ed, lets get 300 feathers and get 12k adena, or turn in 10 and get almost as much.
Quit your proffesion, feed yourself by injecting serum into your body through your arm and play 24/7 w/o sleeping you will be level 80 and rich in no time lol

Every year someone in Korea tries this and they die after about a week, usually of heart failure. No joke. Seems to happen at least once a year.

No one does it better than South Park. I will never till the day I die forget those images of when they stay inside for weeks leveling. Especially the part where they have to go to the bathroom lol, or the carpal tunnel thing.
It is now possible to do this with a LOT less time and effort. Same principle but vastly accelerated in CT2.
1. Make a DE (fighter or mystic does not matter, the quests will be easy regardless).
2. Follow instructions from the newbie guide to progress through the one-time DE quests and gain xp / adena. Dont forget to grab a shadow weapon and newbie buffs @ 6.
3. At some point early on, go to the Kamael village and do the Supply Check quest for a wooden set, boots and gloves. If you are a mystic, sell the wooden items, and buy some cheap robes if you like.
4. After completing all the newbie guide quests, you should be lvl 18. Complete the class change quest for whatever you want to be @ 20 (if this is a disposable create/delete character, pick whatever is fastest, I've done wizard and assassin and assassin seemed faster, not sure about PK & SO).
5. Upon completing the quest you will be bumped to 20 and 30(ish)%.
6. Grind to 21, but don't buy any D grade gear, use the armor you were wearing as listed above, grab a D shadow weapon if you like but don't use any SS.
7. At 21, go back to DE Village and do the Dangerous Seduction quest to receive your 102k.
8. Sell all quest items, drops, parts / pieces, gear. Strip the character completely.
9. Freight to your main character
10. Rinse and repeat as needed.
I did this in about 1.5hrs w/ a dark fighter > assassin, and ended up w/ 330k. I'm not sure but i think DEs can make the most given the (relatively speaking) huge reward for the lvl 21 quest.
The nice thing about this now, given the advent of D & C common items is that since you can buy a full top C set for about 500-600k (weapon / armor / jewels) you can do this twice and spend the rest of the money you make 20-40 on your "real" character on SS / BSPS to level more quickly.
Given that i've returned to the game and am now starting over on a new server w/ 2 new characters, this is quite helpful. Having last seriously leveled a lowbie back in prelude / C1 with memories of being wretchedly poor in crappy gear, I can safely say that we have come a long way here towards making the game more friendly to new players.
