Yes, that's correct. Teon and Franz will be available on the server transfer list until all of the available transfer slots for the week are gone. After that, they will not be available to choose until next Tuesday after maintenance when the available slots resets.
Yeah denmark is also in GMT+2 now, i forgot that also.

If you're trying to apply a transfer code right now, you will not be able to select Teon or Franz yet. It will go live in roughly 13 minutes (12:00 PM Central Time).

Ok so since i want to Teon and my lvl 1 char is on that server it comes with that error message. I thought that it would be possible to get to the server selection screen anyway.

I had the Service allready paid like 3 weeks ago...
Now i choosed the Char (Lvl 62 Warsmith, Lionna) i wanted to Transfer to Teon (Lvl 1 Dwarf created on Teon) and clicked next... The only Option i got was a Lvl 1 Dark Elven Mystic on Franz... :confused:
I tried it several times, allways with the same result, until the servers were after 2mins or so unavaible again...

as we all know, a few hundred people were spamming F5 and only a few managed to have the desired transfer, so i think that for several more weeks/months maybe, the same thing will happen.
so we need to know the exact time, every week these few spots will be available.

It seems a little more difficult than is necessary to transfer. I guess it is to add to the ever increasing amount of frustrating aspects to Lineage II. Good gaming.

friend of mine cant even renew her subscription paying for 2 accounts with the same credicard.
If anyone on Hinde is transferring come by and I have all the beer and whiskey you will ever want untill you pass out. It's a going away party.

I dont understand why you dont let the transfer open for the account who already have a high level char on these servers. You do realise that it wont make more people on the server at same time, right?
I mean, if I just want to transfer an alt on same account that my main, it wont change the server population.
Just put a level requirement on the first char so we cant just create an alt then transfer our main but let it open for people who already transfered.

Talsa: You can view any pending services by logging into your PlayNC account, selecting "Game Accounts" then "Lineage II" then click on the "View Status" link. I'm not sure if this will display what server the transfer is to or from, but it will show any pending services.
Regarding the questions about when more spots will become available next week, I've confirmed that it will be after the weekly maintenance on Tuesdays, so please check back then. :)
Why not just let everyone that want to transfer do their selection and then put them on a waitinglist? That way you can tranfer as many toons as you see fit per week and we dont have to stress the F5 key every week at a certain time.

No, i was talking about Teon, and the fact that you can create ********s of new toons there and completely flood the server, but you cannot transfer one single toon, so this is completely ridiculous !

What sense is there to open and close Franz 100 times for five seconds? Teon once? I understand that no system is perfect, but what the hell is this, seriously?
well, i definetly want to start using aggressive language against the developers but i'm not gonna give u guys any reason to ban me, so, i'll just say that u totally fail in organisation and coordination. There are ppl w8ing to transfer their toons to Teon or Franz for a long time and they are forced to"compete" against each other on who has the faster internet connection so they get through the 60 seconds of transfer availability.
Suggestion: create a list where people interested in transfering to those servers can make their application so u can manage the slot reservation.If these servers are full just expand the server capacity and if there is a lag problem upgrade the hardware, i believe a firm like NC can manage that with ease and if u guys can't,speaking as a customer, u owe us a try.

It seems server transfers are like the Manor system: must meet with the Manager at the very exact time.
I really feel for all those people keep waiting and hoping next time will be *their* turn.
There has to be a better system than whomever loads fastest wins. I mean, come on. We're paying $50 a pop for a transfer and having to fight for a spot? Is it even possible to get a refund if you decide camping the transfer isn't worth the trouble?

at least that happened yesterday. i was spamming for 2 hours and finally i succeed.
dont doubt it ... ncsoft are notoriously bad at keeping to what they say, but the page clearly says "The server transfer slots to Teon and Franz will reset every Tuesday after the regularly scheduled weekly maintenance."
just wish an official time frame would be announced for when Luna will be open for transfers as if more then 6 months away I would transfer off my current server as well if not well with the limit of one transfer every 6 months I wouldn't..

Please reread my post, the point was how LONG until transfers are allowed as in if longer then 6 Months away people will move off their death server to one more fun until they can move to Luna and if less they will stay due to the penalty of only being allowed to transfer once every 6 Months..
I just started a new character on Teon, not even going to mess with the transfer. I'm wondering though, what is the main heavy play times for Teon? Anyone know? I realize it's a Euro server. I mainly switched to Teon because I like teaming up with people, but if everyone's sleeping while I'm playing, guess it wouldn't make much difference.
I've forwarded all the feedback and suggestions about the Teon and Franz transfer process to our team. I can't guarantee they'll be able to change how it's set up, but they're aware of the problems some have experienced with the sign-ups.

I got a spot today as well, but I still feel for the people going through all the frustration of trying to get in and I really think something needs to be done about this system. Even IF it were to eventually go away when everyone eventually gets their transfer, it doesn't change the fact that people are very unhappy and a few simple changes could make a difference.
It's simply poor service to just wait until it blows over and people give up on speaking out about it. A little acknowledgement can go a long way. Some good suggestions have been made, I'm sure some form of organization could be derived from constructive complaints.

I appreciate that transfers were even re-opened to these servers, I think everyone who didn't make it the first time appreciates it. From the views of others, I expected it to be many more months, possibly stretching into a year or more, if at all. The limitation is expected and I don't believe that's what most people are complaining about. It's simply the system of how we transfer. Nothing is perfect, but there is room for improvement.
Basically, as it is now, regardless of when you paid or how early you were waiting, you aren't given any sort of guarantee. Can you imagine that in an every day setting? Last minute Christmas shopping in the USA 365 days a year. Isn't this why we have lines, wait lists, and the ever so loved "take a number" ritual? Something sucks either way, but at least it's a little more fair to people who have been patient and have been trying from the beginning.
I put my transfer through, so I'm no longer complaining for my own benefit, or that of my loved ones. Still, it is frustrating to have no assurance, especially on something that is intended to be fun and that you have paid for.
For everyone complaining about the complainers, try holding your tongue about a bad system and no assurance the next time you go shopping at a local market. You'd be pretty ****** if you pre-paid for an item and the clerk said told you to come back every week and struggle through a sea of people after the same thing and, if you're lucky and fast enough, you just might get it.

because there arent 1000s of new people starting L2 everyday (ie creating toons).
And obviously someone that plays Teon for eg creating a new toon on his account doesnt add to the server overhead.

i managed to transfer 2 toons of a friend that came to my house and we both logged in from 2 different pc's.
the first toon was succesfully transfered a few minutes after completion of first hour and 2nd account transfered about 15 minutes later.
you need to find THE way.

Not that I think the system for teon/franz transfer is particularly brilliant but you have to make an effort if you want to transfer which involves a lot of refreshing. Maybe you shouldn't have to but this is the reality. It isn't even that hard, you just have to sacrifice some time.

Well, good for you if you dont have anything else to do in your life than sit in front of your PC every Tuesday at exactly 6 PM GMT, but that's not the case for me. I'm usually at work at this hour and i have far more important things to do than log into my PlayNC account.
I paid for a server transfer, not a server transfer only available for 2 minutes at a given date and time.
And i want what i paid for, otherwise i want a refund.
OK, WTH. I pay. I see Franz is available for transfer, but the character I want to transfer is not on the list of characters I can transfer? What gives?

NC, how about considering merging some so called "pure NA" servers and open new one or two EU?
Or has to be after secong classtransfer and level 40 or abore. And you cannot have any other service applied to that char as well (namechange, sex change)

Anyway, i'm happy to have switched from Lionna before they implement their new huge failure called Server Merge where it's once again the no-lifers that are able to wait for the exact precise second in front of their PC who will get to keep their names, regardless of customer loyalty or anything...
Also I'm confused. I have one L2 account. I have never had a toon on Teon.
Today I go and create a toon on Teon (whether it's full, "open", or what have you).
So, for a person with an L2 account, I guess I don't see the difference between letting them immediately TRANSFER a toon from another server to Teon or allowing them within their account to create a NEW toon on Teon.
Doesn't Teon get 1 additional toon either way?

teon have transfer open but as before 1st week of transfer the requested number of ppl wanted to go teon was way more that they expected so now they have limited transfer every week to prevent problem with 2 much ppl transfering.

That is exactly my point--it is NOT a different thing nor pretty obvious. Let's see if you can keep up with the math here.
I have 7 toons on Lionna, I have 7 on Bartz, 7 on Devianne, and let's say a total of 10 more on the remaining 7 servers.
But I have none on Teon (whether it's open or closed).
I am able to create a NEW toon on Teon--no problem.
So what is the difference in either my total # of toons or the # ON Teon if I am allowed to transfer one or create a new one?
NCSoft makes it sound like "allowing" the transfer is some bid deal--like they are controlling the server population in some way.
Whether I'm allowed to create one on Teon or they facilitate the transfer of one of my existing toons--Teon still goes up by +1 toon today.
NCSoft is saying in effect, " a new toon created and taking Teon +1 is no problem.....moving an existing toon (SAME account) so Teon goes up +1 is something we will have to wait on....."

u creat toon in teon.ok u can do that but as u say u only created to see if u could create and u have no plan on playing that toon so dont really matter u have 7 toon created on teon server if u dont plan to play toons u created.
they need to test is how many people r online on prime time to see if they can transfer more ppl not number of toons created there.
u dont get my point. i can reroll to teon right now if i want and play there every day 24/7 with my new toon. what will ncsoft do about it? delete my toon? i dont think so
yea you can but at level 1 your not bring over a high level toon fully geared with all your money.
And if you have a level say 78 on 1 sever and you make a new level 1 on teon. 9 times out of 10 before you even hit 20 you will be back on your server on your 78 and be like Teon who?
hell I have a lvl 19 on Teon but it's been 19 for over a year now so do you think they count it as a toon on Teon?
The point is, I CAN level a toon on Teon. I can switch there right now and the mechanics allow me to create a "main" there--that will be played.
NCSoft doesn't know if I'm just looking into the server or deciding to play there.
The point is STILL that my new creation--whether I play it or not--is +1 to Teon.
If Grazzt (or someone else) wants to transfer a toon they say "not yet--we don't want the server to go +1". If that same person starts and plays a new toon on Teon and it goes +1 that is just fine.

There is no difference--except one is fine and the other is blocked. Stupid concept.
I could have that level 1 toon on Teon to lvl 20 in 3 hours and in 3-4 days be most of the way to 40--with reasonably good gear and a couple million adena out of the economy in my WH.
That's allowed. I couldn't transfer my highest Bartz toon over though........

Why don't we just let 8k transfer to teon then the server that can only take 6k will lock out the other 2k so they can't play till someone from the 6k logs off or D/C. That would be a better thing to do can we have this set up NC Soft this is what they want after all :p

I think that is more to the point.
If they were to have completely open transfers then you would all of a sudden get an influx of hundredes of characters.
However, they monitor new character creating and they can pretty much tell how many new characters over the course of time will be created.
It probably has nothing to do with 200 characters being added to a server like Teon but 200 characters being added all at once.

if u create a new main in teon will be 1 less spot take on prime time if u play.like i say they control what prime time of teon and check how many players.
if is 5k at prime time they let more ppl transfer but if 5,8k at prime time make sense that they dont open transfer.
is because that u can create new toon in teon and play as main they have limit of players at prime time to prevent ppl from not be able to log
I think it's even easier than just letting the floodgates open and letting eleventy billion server transfers all at once and the server would be omgpwnt. There is a person that has to perform each and every transfer and all the stuff that you are allowed to take needs to be checked. I think that might be even closer to the reason.
New chars require exactly *zero* intervention on NC's part.

coming up to new levels, i begin to think about a new server for me.
actually, i can't jump till 08-jul-2008 (it will occur on 15-jul-2008...), so i have enough time to finish all businesses i have and say last good-bye to a couple buddies i played with.
currently, i can jump (according to my timezone) to teon or franz. i don't want NA servers anymore, they makes me sick with headache and wondering, who the f.ck i am watching in the mirror at my work's WC wall next day after siege.
unfortunately, luna is closed for a jump and nobody can give me ETA. sadly.
now i almost chosen franz, but i still a bit questioned... i need to make some friend in my national community from both servers to get some general infos. :p
