My DW (going to go SH) is level 39 and is currently using a Devo set with NG jewels and Staff of Life. My SE just got Karm Set, C jewels and +3 Stick of Faith (Mana Up). I duo these toons together.
My question is, what is the most cost effective way to save money while moving from no grade to D grade, then to C grade, etc. without going broke on these two toons?
Do you think my SE can keep this armor/jewel/weapon setup until A grade? What about the SH, is there a loadout I can use until A grade as well?
switch the NG robes to the SE, and crush that karmian.
use the crystals to buy demon, and some GMHP.
hunt outside Hunters village to the SOUTHWEST for brig shield drop. very common.
hunt to the EAST of HV before FOM in that small section, youll get brig helm pieces. craft+sell, its a very simple craft.
do the gator isle quests for cash, hope for the gloves drops from the chest. do the nebulite orb quest for quick cash. 200 - 500 orbs are easy to get, and return fair enough prizes.

Yeah, the se really only needs Ng robes and a Ng weapon. Demon set for the SH is a must, and try to get a homu with acumen as your weapon for Cg. If you can get yours hands on a nicely enchanted Homu, that works for Bg as well, otherwise you will want a sword of Vahalla.
If you are short on money, you can always grind with your silhouette summon for 20mins and collect the cash. She only takes 1 Dg crystal to summon and if you give her cheap beast shots she can rip through mobs with ease. Another way to make quick cash is to level a wolf with you. When your wolf hits 55 you can sell it for 100-200mil depending on your server.
Also, if you are feeling lucky, try enchanting Homus or top cg duels to sell for major cash. However, this is obviosuly risky.
Best way to make money on a server with a good economy is to buy and sell things. Buy cheap items from desperate sellers and resell them. With 1-2 mil you can buy cheap EWDs and resell them to make a 100-200k profit per scroll. When you have more money, start trading top Dg weapons, and even more money... move to Cg armor and weapons. This takes a little time, but it pays handsomely and your profits take on an exponential factor as you have more money to buy more expensive items with bigger profit margins. I make an average of 100mil a day buying and selling over enchanted Sg/ Ag weapons these days. I started with EWDs as a noob. ^^
Or keep the karmian and use that. Find mobs you can two shot using shots only on one of the shots.
Try to work your way up to a top c grade weapon, By 48 u can 2 shot mobs with no shots in Ivory tower pit, that also drop herbs. Non stop pve and u make tons of money.
Easiest way to save money as a nuker from D-grade to C-grade, is to grind in Field of Silence. Especially since you have empower, you can oneshot most of the mobs there without using shots, from lvl 25 -> 40. Combine that with the Black Swan quest at lvl 32 and you can make pretty nice money there.
Your SE is fine with that setup, though you don't really need that Stick of Faith. Personally I used a +3 homu and demon robes until lvl 58 or 59, then I crafted a Sword of Valhalla but still stayed in demon robes until 61 or 62 and got DC robes.
A few useful quests that usually make a nice profit over time:
Coin of Magic and later Royal Coin Collector quest for A-grade weapon recipes, Enhance Your Weapon quest for soul crystals(lvl 10 crystals are easy to make at doom hills around lvl 60 and sell for 500k+ each), quest from Oren's WH freightman(can't remember the name) and some other quests that others suggested. Those are all available at lvl 40 and you can keep them all the way to 75+, making steady profit while grinding
