Vault Poll - What is your favorite Chronicle?

It's good old Monday again, and with it comes the new poll of the week!

Last weeks poll had an amazing amount of votes to it. Thank you all for your contributions! And here are the results:

It seems like a fair number of people were satisfied with their current main class. Nerukan brought up the question last week: Will this be the final death bell of support classes? With the results now and Bishop being a tie for 5th place, I'd have to say it's not quite the death bell of the support classes, but the victory song of the PvP classes.

The mass of top picked classes have been PvP classes: TH, Glad, Necro, HE, SpS, SH, etc. Will this turn the servers into a mass of death and neverending fighting? Or will there still be enough variety of classes to experience this game's full potential, in both PvE and PvP.

Onto this week's topic!

As a Spellsinger I've always been rather upset about the change in Chronicle 4 that nerfed the casting time of Sleep. While I was thinking about that it made me wonder, what were other people's favorite chronicles? The chronicles where their class shined above the rest before being brought down by the mighty Nerf Hammer.

So I put my question out to you, the players of L2. What is or was your favorite Chronicle? Show us your answers in the poll on the right side of L2Vault's front page (http://l2vault.ign.com)

My class has never shined, but my fav chronicle is C4.

C3 was nice polish but it left me flat. Everything since then has felt like meandering.

With the results now and Bishop being a tie for 5th place, I'd have to say it's not quite the death bell of the support classes, but the victory song of the PvP classes.

That's not how placings are calculated (at least in sports). When you have a tie for third, you don't count the next lowest as fourth. There are TWO people (or in this case, choices) above them, not one, so the next is fifth, not fourth.

In the case of the bishop, there are 7 choices ranked above them, so they are tied for 8th, not 5th.

Here's how it's actually calculated:

Some very recreational type competitions for grade-schoolers might rank the way you did, but anything even remotely serious uses this method for placement. In fact, most high-level competitions/races won't even award ties, but use preliminary scores to break any ties that occur. (Although obviously, in this case, that doesn't apply.)

As far as the amount of fun I had, I had a blast in C1-C3, but as far as when I think my class really rocked, that would have to be when they gave us clarity - and we could self-recharge non-stop all the way back up to full. That was awesome. :p (I think that was C5. Whichever chronicle it was, I quit early on in it, so I missed most of it, then came back just in time for them to take it away!!! :( )

Yeah we screwed up on not arranging an awards ceremony for all of the winning classes too.

Well thanks for that bit of information :) i'll try to be more serious and make sure that I rank the results in a more fashionable manner :) I've never done polls for anything big before so that was a bit of an eye opener, thanks!

C2 since it's when I started and everything was new and fun. C3 had the best events but thats also when GM's disapeared and auto responses started.

Or killing level 76-80 raid bosses in 10 seconds by a bug a created on kain server which took what 3 months to get rid of? freezing skin ftw :P all servers copyed me :(
