I've gotten myself a BD sub for my gladdie, yes yes i know how original eh but its being raised side by side with an sws sub ^^
Some decently written tatoo setup guides are lacking for BD's though so i'm kinda asking whats a fairly balanced tat for BD for pve thats gonna be using tallum heavy for agrade and BW for b grade?
Pay close attention its for PvE... NOT PvP so no rambling about whats better for pvp pls :) if i wanna go pvp'ing i'll use me gladdie :p lol
My Bd set up was:
Tallum Heavy Set
+4 kesh*kesh
Maj jewely set
+4 dex -4 con.
I went dex cause for A grade everything gives you spd. Tallum heavy gives you spd and im guessing your getting kesh*kesh or w/e the other top A is..they both have atk spd bonus. DE's alrdy have one of the highest str so i would go all out spd tbh and just get the dex dye.
4 dex is not much u gain 3 crit 12-30 atk speed 2 accu 4 speed 2 evasion o.O while going str boost patk around 200-300 with +4str
get crit augment on ur haste duals
I went that on my gladdie, lol, glasscannon (mostly became glass though... so got rid of +dex when i got duelist spirit lvl 2) Yes for a grade i will be using my glads dama*tall +4 duals.
I occasionally have buffing support out of party but not all the time (i'm to lazy to 2-3box myself :P ) but i do have clanhall support and when i get to the point where i'm gonna start needing healer/buffers there are plenty around in ally :) i'd rather give them the chance for some exp than boxed ones. Thanks for the input folks ^^ I'll be trying the glasscannon one for a bit (mostly cause i already have 10 dex dyes laying around somewhere) and if it turns to crap i'll skip str first (its cheaper to get back) and if that dont work dex will be the one to skip ^^
On Orc not really, just 38 con, on Destro not much, self BtB thank you NC, kamael, -9 from 31 con (females have it worse) 22 Con, 47-22=24 that's still more than 22. the difference is greater, then we have +5con 47+5=52, 52con unbelievable
Well the sub is a BD, thats a dark elf, not an orc ;) if i had destro sub or dorf sub i wouldnt care about the massive con nerf of glasscannon setup, lol, they can take it without flinching.
BD's dont have alot of hp and CON though so i'm kinda cautious.
I went +4 STR -4 CON with tallum heavy and tallum*dama duals. Without PoF or CoV, the max HP would be **** low if I went for the full -9 CON setup - low enough that a lucky mcrit by one of those silly exploding mobs might be too much. It is quite tempting, though.
Wow. I'd say that's glass alright, but without the cannon.
I would not suggest -9 con on a BD ever. Even for pve, -9 con is gimp. With only 30 con to begin with, -9 from that and you may as well be a nuker without the power.
Even if you want to solo or hunt efficiently, you don't need -9 con to do it. With dances and a BD's already high strength, they really have no problem soloing, even w/o buffs. This is absolute worst case scenario lvling too, because more often than not you will be able to get parties easily.
Imo, +strength -dex for endgame. BD has high strength and it's best to maximize that as much as possible w/o gimping your con. I know many that go +con for endgame instead.
It's kinda up to personal preferance though, if you go haste duals and tallum, the +dex isn't bad, but I have always prefered a Maj and +strength setup.
After all, although BD is a decent dd, you are first and foremost a party buffer, and your whole party is majorly gimped if you are dead.
i went +4str -4con till 76.
you dont need dex considering tallum and keshes gives u enough atk speed anyway. in the long run str is better for dmg and good enough to keep ur con relatively safe.
i also tried the glass cannon setup which was cool but just got stuneed like 90% of the time which was bs and any mcrit will do u in.
