I hope soon they would add a patch stating that all natives of HB have died so NC will remove hellbound/pointless area/pointless raidboss/pointless mobs from your HD.
Hellbound is hardly pointless just need to have a semi healthy server population of high level players to benefit from it and atm Kain has/had about 50 players who have access to Hellbound.. not many of those stayed on Kain thou..
DarkSide & URnB alliance have quite some people who can go there if they want, except for Ferst & Brondon most people don't care enough..
ah and yes I have access to Hellbound myself but due to people not wanting to go there or political reasons w/e I've been there about only 8 times in the last 3+ months so go figure ^^
also to level the "make friends with the natives" you need at least 3+ parties actually work at it on Hellbound to see any changes within say a few months time..
if you don't like how it goes atm on Kain or are unable to make your own groups to clear Baylor go transfer to Teon
bartz is work in progress so plenty of alternatives, only mentioned Teon as that server is the most advanced with the Hellbound quest of all servers atm.

So instead of server merge, NC plans to make most of us to pay for server transfer IF people don't want to stay with dead servers?
it's a good money cow for them sofar so why change that eh.. just playing devils advocate btw as I don't like the low population either and to be honest if Luna was open for transfers I would leave Kain as well

This is one thing I am critical of, already, with the NCsoft NA L2 staff. I do get the sense that this statement is at least partially true. I think, at the least, it is past time for management to make some statement on the subject.
It's one thing to charge players for a premium service.
It's another thing to squeeze them for extra dollars, simply because they got stuck with the short end of a stick, and through no fault of their own.

Oh and Drac, i know we cant get it anywhere so i CBF doing anything there atm, not even gonna farm the items to hand in for parts because we will never get there until ct2 at very least, and even then, its crapish exp :P
Oh and even worse is the fact that level 78 Kamael spellbooks DROP in like the END stages of Hellbound (castle stages etc, with levle 80+ ones) kinda stupid really.
problem is that for every guy that wants server merge to do hellbound and endgame content there's another guy that doesnt want server cause he wants to be left in peace to rolepay/pve
but yeah, if you want to move past 80 lvl and gear up you need an active server, not only for the quests but for the recipies/mats too ... doubt there's enought mats in the low pop servers to do 2 s80 weapon crafts :p
