I recently did my 3rd class transfer and I'm in the process getting my s-grade equipment. I wanted to know what is better: Dark crystal or Major arcana robes? And why?
Well MMs primary skill is castingspeed .. u loose alot when using arcana-robe instead of DC
but if its for pure pve .. the extra damage u gain from arcana-robe can make u kill in less hits, and in that way xp cheaper, but u will cast alot slower ...
easiest way to check out pros and cons is to use a calculater like:
Alot of Mystic Muses do Mass PvP (think Seiges, fights for epic raids, etc.) in Arcana Robes because you reuse/casting speed will still be high (like 1.4k+ casting speed) with those buffs. The stun resistance, carrying capacity (more cp pots/qhp/etc.), P.Def, and Concentration on the robes is very nice for that. Everyone has really good buffs in those situations (or should), so the extra M.Atk you get from Arcana is very beneficial.
For small PvP/ganking you should use DC Robes (IMO).
For PvE, go Arcana if you don't plan on getting ganked much. If you think there is a high chance of enemy running up on you, go with DC cause you may need the cast speed :)
