Hi everyone. I am new to the Erica Server and I thought I would compose a little something to introduce myself. My sister plays this game and I never really much cared for it to be honest. Then one day she went to shower and I sort got my hands on her character and played her Bladedancer and poof! another addiction, lol. I am a native of Tokyo,Japan and moved to the United States in 2002 and I am 18 years old. I honestly was impressed with the game over all. It looks nice and from all of the 15 minutes I played it I surely like it. Though, I am not sure which race I would like to choose. I know for certain those human females look a little jondis, so they are out of the question. I am torn between some, though. The Elven Class Looks cool, and then again so does the Orc class. I think the aspect of the Monk sounds cool, then with the Elves a Blade Singer sounds awesome, too. I would like as many opinions on those classes as possible, if you please. It is a pleasure to meet you all and I hope to see many of you in game! * waves * I haven't decided on a name yet because I want the name to fit the class. For me this game is an extension of my own personality so I want it to be well thought. =^_^=.

I chose the Erica Sever because a lot of the people there seemed nice, and judging from what my sister has played and interacted with her people in her guild they seemed very polite, well spoken and considerate to her and various others. Most of the people on Erica from what I saw seemed nice, though some turds have come across my sisters path now and again, they seemed like real warts. Anyhow! I am rambling. Gomen, gomen! Once again it is a pleasure to be here and I hope to build lasting friendships in this world I can escape into. Ja ne!
Konichiwa,
At first I thought this was hect again. She posted a while back asking the same thing. I was confused for a minute. Glad to have you in the game. A good place to get perspective on classes and how they play would be in the classes forums. I will predict however, you wont be playing what you start with. Try your most favorite classes for a little while then decide. Everyone play for a different reason, therefore its hard for a person to give you what you are looking for. If you plan on playing at the same time as your sister, maybe try a class that compliments her. IMO all the classes are fun in their own way. Play a few of them, and have fun!
Ah, no this is my sisters account and she is back home for a few months. So, it is all mine. * grins * As for the classes I do't want to foola round with the magical ones at all, magic has never been my thing. Just wanted to know about the Elves and Orcs. I read the forums and most of the questions are for higher lvl toons and really not about their over all view. =( Any Advice?
If you want to go for a mellee class, then both orc warriors are good (after lvl 40 destroyer/tyrant). Both are among the strongest toons in this game. Swordsinger is a support class. As such your soloing ability will not be as good as that of an orc for example, but you will be able to find more parties and even from lvl 49 you will be welcome to join all Raid Boss hunts.

However you must consider that the strongest classes in this game are archers and nukers (wizards). Nukers require that you learn some things about the game (areas that drop mana herbs, mob weakness etc), in order to make the best of it. So in my opinion a melee class will be easier to work on at first, but you should keep in mind lvling an archer or nuker later on.

Try to find a good clan (ShadowStorm is still recruiting), one that will help you with advice, parties and maybe even equipment.

Good Luck!
I'm sure the clan your sister is in would welcome you too.
Let me know if you would like to get in contact with them.

And, welcome to L2 :)
