hehe Welcome Abolished... lv 1 - roughtly 14 will be quick.. after that it starts to slow down a bit =D But i'll give ya 1 bit of advice i re-discoverd after returning to Lin 2 after a year of not playing.. Just because a mob is yellow.. dosnt mean it'll give you more exp/sp than the white mob next to it (or back down the road) Im currently farming/killing some stone golems.. and they give almost 100 extra exp and 15 more sp than the Yellow con spiders i can kill =D
Yeah... I have no idea how to get away from the starter villiage... I got killed by a purple mob when I didn't pay attention to what was going on... >.<

I honestly have no earthly idea of what I am doing...

Look in your iventory.. dunno if they still give them out when you make a new character or not but one of mine had a 'new player guide' in his iventory. Also when you go to your trainer and ask about the class transfer thei'll usualy tell you how to leave the starter area once you reach lv 19-20
Welcome to Lineage 2 !

Being as I tried alot of the character base types all of yesterday, and such. Only 3 characters stuck out in performance for my favorite style of play - Human Warrior (Still living after yesterdays PvE tests at low levels for me) Orc Fighter (powerful as all heck, but slow and that bothered me) and a Dark Elf Knight (Still living, but won't be played at all til I get my warrior to a high level *75!* or maybe never ... Who knows...)

At current I am lvl 14 on my Human Warrior, Running with a sweet dagger, a nice set of bronze armor and some nice accessories. >.> If anyone wants to tell me what to do when I hit 15... please feel free... I just keep killing stuff and laughing while saying in my head *Slaughter time!!!*
Welcome.Game life before you turn 20 is very easy. There are buffs for you ,quests that give you shots to use,and ask the new player guide what areas to fight, what quests to do.You got tokens you can use to travel to other lands to try out neat places for lvl 15 to 20 like Elven Ruins,Elven Fortress,Noriel's Cave.Figure out which type of weapon suits you,if you like the dagger then stay a warrior. At 20 you will get both dagger and bow skills, most ppl suggest because of cost to stay using the dagger til you lvl 61.and get a bow with cheap shot that saves on the amount of shots you use.
No matter what just have fun, which sounds like you are.
dagger and bows is Rouge not warrior.
At 14 I don't think it really matters...anyway hes better off using a dagger till 20.
I know that but he said

stay a warrior. At 20 you will get both dagger and bow skills,
He's better of using a dagger till 61 imo!

Welcome to the game. It isn't perfect but it is entertaining and there is much to challenge you as you learn through the lower levels.
It is also beautiful to play.

Stay loose, have fun, be nice to folks you meet and don't take anything too seriously--it's a game.

Which is better for PvP? Rogue or Gladiator?

Mass/Solo/PK... If anyone knows... lol

dagger ;x

FYI: XP & SP takes into account not just the mob's level and HP, but the extra properties it has. In this case, the Stone Golems are Greater Resist Magic, so that raises the amount of XP they give.
Dagger is better than Glad in PvP till like late B early A grade
Then Glad becomes more and more powerful

But Dagger always got Glad beat in PvE even more with the new dagger mastery 5 sec popup
Welcome, hope you´ll enjoy your stay =)
