Server Name Nominations

Hi everyone,

Today, we announced our plans to merge some of our North American servers. If you have not read all the details, you can do so here (http://boards.lineage2.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=1089107&an=0&page=0#Post 1089107).

Erica is one of the servers included in this plan. We would like to give you, the community, the chance to name your new server. We will gather name nominations for each of the merged servers until 5:00 PM Central time on Thursday, June 19, 2008. After the nominations have been gathered, we will put up a poll with the top picks for each new server community to vote on. Name nominations must be part of the official Lineage II lore. For instance, names such as Beleth or Valakas would be appropriate.

My suggestion is "Paagrio" for my love of Orcs.

Any of the god names would be good though, or maybe
simply "Giant" :)

How about naming the combined server 'Sheyrena'? It is the name of Eva's most blessed daughter and is a particularly pretty name too, I have always thought.

I'm sad to lose the Erica name since Erica overcame adversity and given Erica's history it was a fitting name.

It's actually quite interesting in the history that Erica and Sieghardt are connected. :)

So.. um yeah...I don't have any pithy great suggestions for names..

I'm liking Sayha. I have not put much thought into it, but Sayha sounds **** :-)

Following the trend of Luna, the new server could be named Solaris (latin) so that would be the server of the sun, the server in the center of the world or at least the center of the two worlds of Erica and Sieghard.

Another name "Colonial", since it will be a colony of the people of Erica and Sieghard.

Last Gaia (earth/mythological Godess), which signifies the unity and the beggining (Gaia was an ancient Greek Goddess before the creation).
