Seriously, we on Erica are a good lot and I am sure we will merge the best of both groups. I understand that Sieghardt is a super-low population server. Erica seems to be picking up after a real slowdown after transfers out. The good news for the Sieghardt folks is that most of out true jackholes transferred to Bartz and the rest are considering it.
Maybe the best of both will be bigger and better than the sum of the parts.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and forming friendships and, er, other relationships...as appropriate. Actually I hope that it is friendships all around. As a Cardinal I'm not much into PvPing.
As the prior poster said, an awful lot of the serious PvPers (and infamous griefers) which made Erica such a difficult place have transferred off the last few months. There is a strong core of old-time players on Erica as well as a pretty good number of mid-age and newer ones. We have quite a few strong and healthy clans and a healthy economy.
While a majority of our players might be from North America there are also strong populations from Western Europe and Russia and a smattering from all around the world. Business is generally conducted in English, though.
There is a moderate amount of raiding and sieging on a pretty regular basis. The prime hunting areas (FotD, HS, WoA, Tomb, etc.) usually have players in them but also open hunting spots.
There is, of course, botting on Erica. There is less now (I think) since many of the heavy PvPers left. There are many clans of players who strongly despise cheaters of the various types...botters, ebayers, account buyers, and so forth. There are others who do such things and the clans seem to be split along those lines with 'birds of a feather flocking together.' My personal hope is that our combined server will be anti-bot, anti-cheating.
I look forward to our time together. L2 is a great game and brings much richness into our lives.
You know, I never could find a good donut shop on Seighardt. If somebody wants to open one on the new server, I promise to support the shop as a regular customer.

Thanks for the info on Erica Tau, it's been something I was wondering about when I first read the merger status.
Siegh is pretty much the same as you guys although prices may differ for what's left of the market. I'm looking forward to the new relations that will form after this merger and the opportunities and challenges that may arise as well.
Could someone describe what we should expect from your people? I mean are there any griefers, heavy pvp alliances, name some dominant clans/alliances give a description of the political situation (who is warred with who etc)?

Dude dont fool yourself, like the guy i saw running around heretics shouting at how the bots had all the rooms as he ran by me with a botted buffer behind him, hypocrisy is the rule... and besides i play the game the way i want to play and i dont look down on botters or any others, if you complain about them having spots then go ahead and train them, or pk them if you want, but i have found that most of them are live lvl bot trains now, and they fight back

What makes you think the buffer was botted..?
Many people have buff *****, isnt to say they are run on a bot - just ran like a normal toon, either dual box or on another pc.
But other than that, yes I agree with your point about botting, ie: just co-exist with it or whatever. I dont care if people bot, I dont care about bot trains. People can play however they want. But yes my only rule is player > botter with rights to a hunt spot, so I have no hard feelings about clearing farming bots from rooms/areas I or anyone else want to use, they can wait till we done or move bot train to a different spot.
People botting to level - if thats how they wanna play I dont mind at all doesnt bother me.
Farming bots - again fine, if they in my way they arent for long ;) Otherwise they can go for it too and farm their hearts out.
I just had to answer this, I reckon you never ever dual boxed a buffer of sorts in all your mighty levels huh? Cool, good thing you didn't need or feel like it.
But that's not called botting. Thought you should know.
Indeed there is a diff between botting and boxing a toon you leveled yourself to aide your next toon. Not everyone you see in a cata running around with a buffer on him is botted up. It's been said and debated more then enough times now on these forums.

Gratz already for the noble :) and two years is still a very nice achievement.
I've been playing 4 years and not even noble yet ;) ... But I guess I can blame my 13 other chars LOL each around B and A grade and the rince repeat academics (13 in total done) for rep points LOL :D (Yeah I have an Alt addiction ^^)

4 years of playing, i have yet to even make a subclass. :confused:
in roughly one year... i played pretty much solo specific toon.... at lvl 65 i basically gave up and quit because i had no A grade anything to speak off really... and the politics on the server became such a joke, everyone was running around pking/pvp to the point of not knowing what the hell was happening.. then things kept falling appart..
ontop of it... i was available much less due to work/rl.
my account went inactive a number of times.
oventually when i came back, i just kept toon after toon and lvled up to 40/52/61 for each.
