As I'm sure you all know by now, our server is going to be merged with Hindemith. What you may not know, is that NC Soft plans to only refund the winning bid for all auctionable clan halls. What you still may not know, is that we won our Aden clan hall 3 years ago for only 52mil (that was a lot back then).
Oh Noes! What do we do?
Good question. The only thing we can do, is try to buy our own clan hall from ourselves before next Tuesday for 2bil.
What does that mean?
Another good question, let me explain. NC Soft plans to reimburse the winning bid for all auctionable clan halls. If we buy our clan hall from ourselves for 2bil before next Tuesday, then they will have to reimburse us the full 2bil (winning bid). Here's the kicker. Since we are also buying the clan hall from ourselves, we will also have possession of the winning bid (another 2 bil). You heard right friends! If all goes to plan, we'll have 4bil at our disposal next Tuesday. So we will be able to easily repay all loans 100%.
How can I help?
That's the spirit! A simple Adena LOAN until next Tuesday. That's right, a LOAN that will be repaid 110%. You heard right, I'm paying 10% interest on any loans. There's no risk, since all who know me, know they can trust me. Especially since I will be paid the winning bid I'll be able to easily repay your loan plus the 10% (even if things don't go as planned).
Why should I help DW?
So that those Hinde's get one less clan hall and fail at trying to take over the world! And you earn 10% interest on a short-term loan (tax free).
On Hindemith, our clan owns one of the Aden Halls (the Gold Manor, FYI - perhaps you own the equivalent on Gustin?). We bid the max 2 bil for it in C4, after several failed bids on other halls and a lot of hard work. Losing the hall is making me seriously think about quitting.
Perhaps if the two servers work together though we can ensure that farmers and random 4 person alt clans don't get lucky and steal all the halls though.
its an idea i had also - but ncs lack of a definitive explanation is suspicious (or im paranoid lol !) i have visions of trying this and finding i get some token on an alt clan to bid on a hall that is non-tradeable and if u win it u will only be allowed to put up for auction undersome bizarre set of unworkable conditions !

Yes you will have 4bil, but you will lose a clan hall which is worth 2bil... so you don't really make any profit at all.
It sounded like a great idea when I first read it, but after thinking about it properly... you don't really make a profit. You will either end up with 4bil and no clan hall, or if you're lucky, 2 bil and a clan hall, and since you raised that 2bil in the first place by yourself, well you see what I mean ><
u wont have 4bil and if im reading right that isnt the point of what he is proposing - all he is trying to do is redress the balance between the clans that bought clan halls more recently at 2bil and those like mine that bought theres a long time ago - i think we paid 100 mil lol
First off you need to understand that the clan buying my clan hall is my alt. So in essence I'm trading 2bil from my one character to my other.
The other 2bil is coming from NCSoft, when they refund the 2bil buy price to my alt clan next Tuesday. After I freight the 2bil from my alt back to my main, I'll have 4bil.
Granted, I will refund all the loans so only 2bil of the money would be my own.
I see the problem merging the servers brings.But have in mind the people from the other server will probably be complaining about the same thing.This ould be a war about who has the best economy in the server. They will aswell fight for the clan halls who they want aswell and this will end up being who has the most cash. So get rdy to lose bundles of millions for clan halls. I like and dislike the idea of merging but more like than dislike due tot he fact people are having hero for free "just as an example" and aswell giving up or forfit the matches. Merge will bring more pop to the server dus Adding a real challenge to hero "in this example"
Take my friend mysticlance "no offense man" but u know u have no competition as it is. So yea..i wanna see real matches no the same bs been going on for ages "in this example of the hero" note i know is has waayyy nothing to do with the main theme but im just throwing this example in the conversation.
I bet NCSoft never thought of this. Your plan is foolproof.

Nc soft Does not care about peoples ingame economy or ca*****hey only want ur pockets hard cash. Simple economics...to them this game is just another game they gain money from. This is proved by how the Forum Admins LOOOOVVEEEE to ignore important threads like this by not iven conforting us by saying "we have this [censored] solved"
So yea this aint much planned is simply a way to keep you giving them more money.

I only see 1 problem with Beer plan: money will be refunded on the mergeing downtime so he will have them on the alt clan wh so he needs to log in trade money then bid that will be soo "nice" for him.
He already has the 2 bil on the main clan though, the alt clan is what is getting it back, so he still has 2 bil to bid with intially, plus the 2 on the alt clan when the server comes up
