Yesterday evening we experienced a new way of warfare on server Franz.
The new way: mass petition.
If you cant broke an opponent, and you dont want pvp, just wining, make a mass petition against your opponent's well know chars, and GMs will ban them. Btw, as I see, without any inspection.
About 30-40 members of clan RM - which is one of the most active and strong clans on server franz - got ban. Including the clan leader, Batman.
We are shocked. Our clan members arent angels, but at least, if we see one of us exping afk, we kick the botter. And if someone kicked couse of bots, he cant come back to us. Our opponents arent so strict as we, and the last time we played on that situation, they are stronger than us.
But we didnt care - till yesterday. We like the hard pvps, and the strong opponents give us a lot of fun. But when I loggen in yesterday, I got the shocking news: almost half of clan banned...
I cant understand. Btw, I dont want to understand. I just want to get back my clan. And I want, GMs investigate petitions independent from the number of them. Not just ban, if 30-40 ppl make a mass petition.
Ps: some of non baned player consider, we should leave the game. We dont want join to opponents' clans. And we dont want play a game, where ppl can get ban w/o any reason.
As I understand it, this had to do with the port in to Frintessa... that the command channel leader ports in, and the party leaders, wherever on the map they may be, are ported in with their party members as well (if they are right next to them)... like a CoG. This has been used over and over since Frintessa has been available. How is it an exploit? It seems to me it is a feature of the game. If this IS a bannable offense, good lord, we all need to know. Please... tell us... is this a bannable offense, to use a game feature like that?
I'm sorry but you are one of the most ******ed people I've ever seen post on this forum. I used to play Franz and I know for a fact 99% of RM bots. Because we *In Invincible* have deleveled around 30 of the toons in your clan from 78+ to lvl 10 when you guys have left auto rez on. You guys run a baium script to port in all at once, once baium is up to beat Invincible. You have mass petitioned everyone ever holding the Invincible Tag and many others.
Its been posted on [censored] letting everyone see the Screen Shot of Batman ordering everyone to post True's group and many others. So please when is RM going to stop crying when they do the same exact of everyone else. Batman AFK'ed his Kamael named "Hated" up within 3 weeks he was Noble and Hero. I'm sorry but stop [censored] and take the punishment that your clan members deserve and move on because its just plan stupid. Mass Petition was a War RM Started over 5 months ago.
It's not "new warfare" bat/venta/marti pretty much mass petitioned everyone in franz they considered to be a threat for months, and yes I am talking about the 1st year franz was up.
Having said that, you people probably dont deserve to get banned, if indeed porting people into frint from ch was a gameflaw ncsoft should have fixed it months ago cause it's not the first time it s been used.

RM and their former ally clans like OGD have been mass-petitioning every enemy they have for more than 1 year. Trust me,I've been there since day 1 and I 've survived a mass petition as well....
It was their "strategy" from the start...so they may as well "enjoy" it now...
And as for your precious leader,batman....although I respect the way he build his clan, He's been banned WAY to many times allready...and unbanned by a "miracle" every time...
So all I have to say is...WELL DESERVED... ;)
I'd not like to see anyone lose their account over something similar to what Obs points out. That isn't right.
At the same time, there are obviously some process things in place (that we all complain about) that require some time & verification to occur before an account is banned.
I can't see how the player base can have it both ways.....we demand botters be banned (and RIGHT NOW, dammit!) and we also complain everytime someone who appeared 'substantial' is banned.
Sure if it's a known exploit that is different--but how are the rest of us to know that the players named here weren't banned because they were CAUGHT botting or ebaying?
If they were guilty of attempting to cheat then justice has been served---whether others get punished or not.

I hope if these folks weren't doing anything obviously outside of Eula that some kind of appeal will reverse an unjust decision.
If they were caught botting red-handed (which would be my first guess), then I hope we never see them again.
And to the OP, sorry man--but this isn't "new" warfare. It's very old.
they were banned for "using a teleport **** in game" ... screenshots of the mails they got are all over the place, so yeah they were banned for that not for boting :)

I saw on my eyes to kick afk exping ppl from the clan. And Hated exping: that 3 weeks was more than 3 months. And I saw him: he was allways in Rift. And all know, exping in Rift is extremly fast. Ofc, Hated got support classes from clan for fast exping, but its ok, I think.
And i remember, half server thought, he was lvl 76, when he was only 68... But nvm.
It was interesting to read, you deleveled 30 tons from RM... I remember, when ToxiC deleveled a char from 44 to 3 in a nonfactor clan (Brotherhood) was a movie and a big scandal. But I have never seen it about RM. While I saw afk exping HB hero in Varka... I was on SE, so I couldnt attack him, but...
Baium script? I have never heard about it.... But seems you are an expert.... Btw, make an macro: /target Baium, /delay 15, /target Baium is more simple I think...
And you know, I didnt hurt you and your clan here, but seems you make some offense.

New way of warfare. Ok. Good luck then. We werent so strict command as you to wage it. We allways believed in pvp and tactic. Seems no all believed in it. Especially a clan, who was in 1 way war thorough more than one and half year.
Ok guys, take the spats into the game. EULA-violation accusations and the like have no place on the official forums. If you believe someone is exercising EULA-breaking practices in-game, the way to properly report it is in-game via a petition, not here on the forums.
