It's hard to keep going in this game after 4 straight years. But Some how I push on........however this server merge almost did it for me. It was my Clan and my Friends on Lionna that keep me here after they Announced the server merge. If not for them I would of hit the Cancel Account button :D

What another Bartz person with alts on Lionna that they play more lol. Also were do you see anger? text is so bad you can't even tell if some is angry except with Icon and people don't even seam 2 look at them. I not even angry if you look at my icons I'm not using anger icons. When I'm angry I use anger Icons not when I'm in a silly and don't care mode. when I;m like that I use :p
They're not going to call a server after the Goddess of Death. If they did, they would have to rename the other servers Eva and Pa'agrio etc.
Which would just look stupid beside Bartz, Franz, Teon and such.

Today, we announced our plans to merge some of our North American servers. If you have not read all the details, you can do so here.
Lionna is one of the servers included in this plan. We would like to give you, the community, the chance to name your new server. We will gather name nominations for each of the merged servers until 5:00 PM Central time on Thursday, June 19, 2008. After the nominations have been gathered, we will put up a poll with the top picks for each new server community to vote on. Name nominations must be part of the official Lineage II lore. For instance, names such as Beleth or Valakas would be appropriate.

Having 'Shilien', the Goddess of Death who is worshipped by the Dark Elves, beside a name like 'Bartz', a mere paladin, makes the other servers seem a little... (inferior?) It's like having a choice between 'Alexis', 'Ashley' and 'God'. I just don't think they'd do that, but *shrug*. But yeah, I missed that green part of the post LOL. :)

I have no problem with Rikku, Ashley, actually, he's helped me in game quite a bit. I was able to gear a bunch of my characters thanks to him. And I remember he helped me once too, with one of my first characters, upgrading my D grade sword to a Top D.
He just has a sharp tongue, yes, in the forums and stuff. But I'm thankful to him cause he's been helpful in more ways than not.
Gah I'm gonna miss replying to those threads! I hate NCSoft for not allowing us to post with inactive accounts :p

And Ashley, I'm not quitting because of the mergers, those were only the last drop on the bucket. I had already decided to take a break BEFORE they announced the merges, the game's not fun for me anymore. The merges just made me decide that the break would be a definite one, instead of a temporary one.
And I bet that Rik's gonna say that it's not fun anymore cause I don't PvP, and in a way... I think that if he says that, he actually HAS a point.
But I don't really like PvP and this game is kinda poor PvE-wise, so time to move on, I guess.
I'm carebear also but I find fun in my ally and friends I made on the server but it's your time and money so I understand and good luck with what ever you do and you will be missed :(
Well, it's certainly not poor PvE wise. You just need to actually level a toon to 3rd class :) (u know I <3 u but jeez!! )
For instance, Hellbound is kinda fun. With those that can there doing their best to make alliances and doing the quests, new parts are opening up and it's kind of fun when that happens and you go around exploring and have to learn how to deal with the mobs, etc.
Armie, the problem is having the patience to go to 3rd class :(
I find myself wanting to reroll after I get past 55. The max I got was my lvl 62 Zerker and even then, it was hard to push him forward!
So I guess I did a good thing by quitting. Not even friends and ally and stuff actually made it for me. I love my L2 friends and always will, of course, but the problem is the game itself for me. I would often keep on wondering why the heck I was still pushing and grinding only to be bored and have no future perspectives in the game.
And Armie, what you say about Hellbound sounds fun, but that's what I mean. They have made NO efforts in making the game more fun to actually get to those stages... it's pointless, the same old grind, clicking and clicking and clicking, you don't have to think, you don't have to use strategy, nothing...
Guild Wars is fun, though. And I've just reinstalled ROSE Online, at least that game is pure cuteness :)
Ya, I know several people that are like that... they barely get to A grade and then they decide they want another toon. Not sure what it is. I know, for sure, that I wouldn't ever level another toon to 3rd class. The amount of grind takes all the fun out.
Glad I stuck it out with one toon.... got it to 79 (with Salvation now, woot!!) and noble and Hellbound access. I dread just THINKING about getting it to 80/81, purification field or not!!! So I decided to just keep playing and let it come the unconscious way ^^
And see, if Spud wasn't mean to me on that other thread, I might have even contemplated figuring out a way to get him Salvation (which includes BoN) but oh no. He had to diss me :( I'm so hurt.
Hehe that's Spud... I won't say anything on how he REALLY is cause, as Rik didn't want me to ruin his reputation, Spud doesn't either ;)
And I don't know, I have a short-attention span in general, so for me it was too much to grind after A grade. My Kamael was my first A grade toon ever, and I got another one close to A grade (my soulbreaker), and I just couldn't take it anymore. And I do like the class...
So that means that this game's more likely not the ideal game for me, as much as I love the lore and the graphics and all that. I honestly admire you guys that managed to stick to one toon till S grade and noblesse and hero, because I wouldn't be able to do it.
