Glads and light armor

I am a returning player and leveling up a new glad, but i wanted to know can glads manage in light armor. I have full plated leather, and the +4 strength seems like it would be a good benifit for glads. But i wanted to know if i focused on light armor would that hurt my character come high level pvp.

Its a really rough and extremely generalized statement but it holds some truth;
Unless you have a 1-hit kill button light armor hurts just about any class

I Have a WC, PW, PR, Kamael and SE and they all Use Light armor and pretty much that's all I had in armor of all grades. So when it came time 2 sub my Glad and I saw they got Light armor mastery I of course went Light armor and was loving it. I didn't PVP much mostly because I avoid it. Well 65 Came and I end up PVP more for hunting and pretty much lost every time. So I gave in and got heavy. WOW what a difference. I started Wining a lot more in PVP after that............also even PVE is a lot better. Heavy is the way 2 go for Glad the only reason for like is if your main is a Light armor class and your subbing Glad and don't plan on PVP. I don't see my self getting S grade Heavy because my main will use light so will my glad for S grade. but if Glad is your main heavy is the only way 2 go.

It's true, she sucked in light armor, in heavy armor she became more dangerous

REason i ask is, im comming froma treasure hunter/kamael serker. So i have plated leather already, if i use that until b grade, maybe a would i be able to manage?

u could use pl up to 61 if u liked =o

Yea that's fine I used PL also till B grade then went to BW light.

I didn;'t wear Heavy till well into A grade.

PL is the best C-grade set for any fighter type. At such low levels, the heavy/light armor debate isn't really an issue. For B-grade, many just continue to wear PL all the way till A-grade, those that choose to wear B-grade usually go with BW Heavy. The set bonuses between the two are fairly comparable.

Plated Leather:
STR +4
CON -1

BW Heavy:
Speed +7
HP Regeneration +5.24%
STR +3
CON -1
DEX -2

So yes, definitely wear PL through C-grade, your choice through B-grade, then in A-grade go heavy (Tallum Heavy, IMO.)

PL is good for C grade yea, but in B grade unless you got very good OOP buffs, your gonna get hit really hard, PL has terrible pdef
