I have no idea where I would post this, so it's gonna go under general discussions :-\...I was trying to enchant a weapon, but ended up clicking another weapon of the same grade in my inventory that I didn't want to enchant. Upon realizing this mistake, I attempted to cancel the enchant, but thanks to my lovely military barracks internet, lo and behold, the enchant went through anyway and crystallized the weapon I wanted to keep. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way I'd be able to get that sword back? I wasn't helped in-game and all they did was direct me to the forums with my petition. Thanks for the input.
is ur fault not ncsoft :/.
u cant expect ncsoft to give back every weapon when OE fail because ppl say they miss clicked.
ncsoft have no way to know if u miss click or not

I know of no way to get the item back. It may have been an honest mistake, but all you're likely to get out of it is a lesson to be much more careful where you click.
Contrary to popular misconception, Lineage GMs cannot simply spawn items into the game on a whim, and saying "Oops, I messed up" isn't going to place this issue very high on the priority list for in-game reimbursement.
We've all done something ******ed at some point. Very seldom is the any recourse unless it's a genuine game bug.
Unfortunately, you'll just have to live and learn.
Enjoy your new crystals, though. Sell them and try to make some of that money back!
ouch i feel ya on that. Hope it wasnt too expensive of a weapon. NCsoft will not help you for sure otherwise I would of "misclicked" when I accidentally enchanted my +13 Lance to ++++ crystals :)

Sorry, you're out of luck.
If somehow you find a way to get this undone and your weapon back, drop me a PM.
It turns out I've accidentally misenchanted dozens of weapons and would like those back, too :)
I got my +4 DC Helmet from a miss click. That turn out 2 be a good thing but after that good mistake I now make sure I slow down when enhancing so that I never miss click again. Think that's the best way 2 avoid a miss click like that........... slow down and really check what your +++
I misenchanted my +6 Typhon Spear to +7 last week. Can anyone hopefully misenchant it again so I can have a +8 Typhon Spear w/ 300+ p.attack? :D
That sort of thing happens all the time. We just have to be a bit more careful when doing these things because of the risk. I've known a lot of people who've done the same but nothing can be done at this point. Hopefully you can make back the money to get back your sword.
That statement is completely false. The company has not authorized them to do so but they most definitely can do it if they wanted to or were allowed
Its a policy not a limitation
Very well, then...they CAN, but they WILL NOT.
No GM is authorized to spawn items into the game based solely on their own discretion and judgement. There are checks and balances. Several.
And in that regard, yes, it is very much a limitation.
The end result is exactly the same:
A player can ask a GM to replace his or her lost/broken/looted/scammed item, but it is not going to poof into existence right then and there, as many people seem to believe it will.
If it happens at all, it's going to take time. And in most cases, it will not happen at all.
There.
Does that clarification help you sleep better, Captain Semantics?

It was clear already smart &^£ and its not just semantics
The GMs have the ability but don't use it - that is completely different than saying they can not do it.
It matters because policy can change, and with the constructs being built into the game its obvious they were intended to be used sometimes
To my knowledge a GM has not ever returned anything lost when it should be as in the example of the Broken Weapon by a Blessed Enchant - which is not suppose to break the item. That would have been easy to check and easy to fix - but did not happen. I'm sure there are many many examples just like that - hardly semantics
I believe you Awyan... if I busted a sweet B grade weapon like a plus 3 AOBA after getting a Blessed EWB and it broke I would just walk away after only one GM pettition. Maybe even mention it in a post some time later to add color to a post. Yeah...

How do either of you know this by the way?
It was part of a post some time back by one of the GMs, essentially explaining how some players' often-unreasonable misconceptions of how they believe GM interaction should go are totally off-base.
I don't recall if it was by HGMSpam or someone else, but I'll see if I can dig up a link.

Doubt all you want it happened - and did I say I never did anything else about it outside the game? No, I raised a ticket but I just let it run. If you ever find yourself in a similiar position then you will understand NC make it very clear they will not entertain any notion of replacing broke items no matter what evidence you provide. Given that I just moved on.
And please explain something to me - how would it be possible to have screen shots of that?

Press Print Screen button?
Ha! That's hilarious. Pure class. :p
But seriously, I do see what he's getting at.
It's impossible to take a pic of the actual process of failing at an enchantment.
Sure, you can take one picture of the item and the Blessed Enchant scroll in your inventory together, then take another picture of the crystallized remains and your inventory having one less Blessed Enchant in it...but that's not a picture of the actual event in question; just a before & after
Honestly, if the GMs accepted stuff like that as evidence, that's just an exploit waiting to happen.
However...let's not forget a certain in-game video feature.
Now, that? THAT can record the process.
Still not tamper-proof, but a fair bit more convincing.
All it takes now is someone compulsive enough to record every single time they try to enchant an item, ever, just in case the immeasurably unlikely event of something out of the ordinary happening actually manifests itself.
But who!? Who would actually be so obsessed with proving their point that they would go to these maddening lengths?
If pics/video were taken before a misenchant, I personally would take it as premeditation, or that person was just a dummy.
I.E. The person is cautious enough to think ahead to have evidence that they were being careful, then they mess it up...with evidence to prove it. Straight up dummy.
I think thats what he meant by how was he suppose to get a screenshot of it.
why asking these questions on forums?
ask support team. provide them a shreenshot...
this is their job to explain you if you're wrong and resolve issues...
