Earlier this year, we announced that an event called Choose Your Destiny would be coming to the European and North American servers. The wait is almost over! On July 15, 2008, this unique event will begin and allow qualified players to permanently swap your main class with one of your subclasses. Read on for more details.
The next Lineage® II update, Gracia™, is right around the corner. You can learn more about this exciting update by checking out the Gracia™ preview site, launching in early July, which boasts info about the new vitality system, new improved skills, and much more!
The official Gracia™ update launch is in August, but you can experience it even sooner than that! How? The Gracia Public Test Server will launch on July 17, 2008! We'll see you there
Actually, I'm VERY impressed.
Gracia in August - even if it ends up being the very end of August - is a heck of a lot sooner than I anticipated. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's looking forward to that.
Also, finally having a firm date on the sub-to-main event should make a number of folks pretty happy as well.
Nope nothing. Unless you have a sub NO event for you (includes me). It's just getting to routine and boring it's the same old thing every day in this game. Ok enough complaining it's summer time to take a break anyway.
To be fair we did have an event for 48 hours 2 weekends in a row. But still nothing compaired to previous years. Oh ya I don't consider an update and teleports events.
imo the last good event weve had was the bunny event like 7 mths ago, i think its about time for another event.
PS new update releases and the sub to main thing isnt considered an event in my book, all that did was encourage botters becuase people want to change thier sub to main. me I have a lvl 58 sub theres no way in hell Ill be able to get it to lvl 75 in time.
Give us another Good event, and fireworks dont count -.- theres no money there, we need another money event, like the rouge raids, sqaush/pumpkin event, Heavy metal event, Annvesrary event, or bunny event, those were all good money making events, specially the bunny event.
what I'm happy about is that the new quest for 2nd class change.
I was just reading over the BH quest (which I'll have to do). and its lame, so much porting, and killing endless mobs that wont get me anywhere but will actually cost me mats :(.
so I'd rather pay 3mil then lose my mats that I made the BH for in the first place.

I totally agree with that statment as well, i wasnt AT ALL expecting to see the first Gracia patch arive that early. Woooot!!!!

I loved doing the BH quests, 3 mil is a huge punch in a new players face, then again... new players should do the quests.
It's prolly only made for the ones that been playing longer and thus can easely pay for it to be done with the quests.
It's not 3mil .... original korean pts it was 3 mil, it was changed in the final pts patch to 1.5 mil and the quest was shortened a bit to like 10 mins around giran

It's true that the Sub2Main event is only aimed at one specific group of players, but it sure is looked forward to by many.
It was already weird to have so many people get new names because of the server transfers and name conflicts, and now we'll have to get used to so many now-familiar names with new races and all!!
And with the server merges too, it would be nice to give a little slack to them.... and hopefully an event that targets the entire player base will be given soon.
question! will we be able to apply for the sub to main service on the 8th? and the first service will be applied on the 15th? or will the service be avalible starting on tuesday the 15th?
actually event stars 15 july... so first requests you can do on 15 july... i think, it's obvious... first day when the changes take effect will be 22 july.
what official announcement do you need beyond the fact the event is coming next tuesday?

I for one am very pleased with all the news. I've been following Gracia for a while now and I have to say this is the closest we've ever been to the Korean with a patch release. Makes me tingle :o
As far as the events: Why would they start an event near a patch? they want us to explore and enjoy the new contect to help report bugs and things to get it running smoothly before they distract us with chassing bunnies or pigs around.
