combo buffs are great for others and for 2box. you can buff yourself (that dudes) a couple of skills and forget for two times. for real SE's this reduces even more number of usable skills. i don't say that this new things are evil. no. they are great, but from C5 SE actually had nothing new while BP and EE received a number of new skills. that skill boosted especially EE from something like SE now directly to welcomed by every party buffer/healer.
in next update every class get a skill. some skills are better, others are much more than disputable... but everyone gets a skill. so it's bad argument.
SE > HE for hero debuffs. you're right. but any nuker > SE for same competition. every class should do thing that it's suitable. if you would use SE as debuffer, you can nail with a tft monitor... this is same stupid.
Your points may be true Sadie but if you think I want to take a SE to lvl 85 yer outta yer mind, it was hard enough getting lvl and the sp I needed for mana gain and no not cause of wars, just a pain in the butt.

Yes, but you had to be a certain level to get those parties and in order to get that level you had to endure 60ish levels of "what? EE? are you crazy? ****!"

i played SE earlier. it's nice, nice looking and wonderful overall toon. SE has great abilities, great combination of buffs and heals, can recharge... but this is true for C4. all this thing faded completely in C5 when EE get clarity and real heals. because of cpsd, EE operates party faster and better. real EE heals makes SE out of road. well... did anyone think about usefulness of orc buffers in c3? only real enthusiasts. now WC/OL are best 78+ buffers that you can have.

pp's are crying but i can't understand why. they have a number of unique skill and really great 79 skill.
and only se's have nothing significant at all. mana gain shared with ee, pow is great, but ppl usualy prefer pof/cov for every day pve... there's no light on end of tunnel.

SE is the worst of the buffers, the worst of the healers but not considered either class type. What is a SE now? I dont know BUT I do know that my SE is 78+ and is not wanted in any party end game over any other classes. People just "settle" for a SE when they cant find exactly what they want. SE's are second string both in PVe and PVP. People say sure SE's are wanted in nuker parties. I do believe that a 79 Dominator is Far superior to a SE at any lvl for a nuker party. The Dominator eliminates teh need for a prophet(haha Rail) and then frees up the spot for an EE so they can recharge and heal. Sure Dominators have to be in your clan but random parties dont exist at least on bartz. It is all clan parties. Oh and 79+ Dominators are far more common than 78+ SE's, live ones that is. Lots of 78+ SE alt chars around used as mana batteries and empower machines.
All I know is I get very bored and almost fall asleep when I CAN find a party for my SE, sitting and recharging is not what I chose the class for but "improve magic plz" and "recharge me" are the core things you hear when you play a live se and can actually find a party
yeah, play se is something passionless that simply cannot be played without falling down asleep. buff, wait 20 min, buff again. recharge, wait for 5 min, again. stupid and boring.
i used to play SE and i leveled her till 78. then, when i can't see light in the end of tunnel, i give up. i don't want to hit a wall by my head. so i know how it's impossible to get a party, how it's need to force people to take you, how it's disappointing to understand that they take you only out of pity. :)
event probably starts 15 july, this tuesday (it is 02-12 in monday here). of course, they can change it to any other maintenance day by their own resolution. i hope, date pointed in june newsletter is true. actually, i wonder when we can read details of the event such as time interval, detailed "how to" guide etc. hope we'll have it todays evening (or morning for US), not a hour before maintenance like always.

You have a 5x PP that I guess is your alt, if you managed to experience how it is to have a lvl 79-80 PP in 5x lvl the gg, if not then don't take other ppls word for what they are saying.
Everyone in this game wants theyr class to be the best in game so you will always see complains about everything.
Rohirrim, although you are correct about players (most of them anyway) complaining all the time about their classes, I think one can tell when someone has well-grounded reasons to be displeased and when someone is just looking for that "uberness". It's up to us to make the distinction between silly and sober players.

It's an obvious business solution. They aren't bringing in new players. The current player base is probably playing as many accounts as they can manage. So they start up all of these new pay services. I expect this trend to continue until they shut down the servers.
Well, I can understand charging for server transfers, since there is time and labor involved. I can understand charging for name-changes because you do not want players changing their name every day. That would have a negative impact on the community in a way.
But this feature of swapping your sub and main classes strikes me as a way to make the game a bit more interesting, allow the player base to balance out class distribution more fluidly, and likely increase subscriber retention if players are happier with their new class.
So, for those reasons, I would ask that NCsoft consider the benefits of allowing it to be a game feature (ie, quest or adena driven), rather than a paid service.
/edit: as a compromise, consider allowing one free swap per account, for those who are not yet ready to take advantage of the event, and for future players.
It's not a service YET in korea, neither free nor pay, they are considering adding it as a pay service but so far It was a one time event when HB launched, that's all.
And no free sub2main would be ******ed, remember your main does olympiad ... dont think I d much care for people swapping main class whenever they felt like it
