Well I've recently heard that due to server merge, that if you want to transf to one of those merged servers, there is no 6 month wait period of transferring. Is this correct?
Example: Originally from Kain, I transferred to Bartz 3 months ago. I was told if I wanna go back to Kain, or transfer to another merged server, I dont have to wait the 6 months.
this sucks, cos u cant create a new char, i have to use the only level 1 char i have on that account with the name being 324342432 or something (used to get my clan enough to war people) lol
Currently, you can transfer to Sayha, Aria, and Phoenix. If you purchased a transfer to any of these three servers, please apply it tomorrow after the regular weekly maintenance when character creation is turned back on for Sayha, Aria, and Phoenix.

Seeing it has been open and we were notified that we would be able to transfer directly after server transfer (already have a level 1 character with the required name) and have already submitted my transfer, i am expecting that the transfer will go through today? or will we have to wait a Further week? its not fair for those who left the servers before the mergers
Why is it not fair? Knowone forced anyone to transfer to or from any server. If someone decided to move it's on them. Now that servers have been merged and someone decides they want to go back, then they have to wait tell they can transfer again. It's the individual making those decisions not someone else or NcSoft making them for them.
Now if someone would have been forced to transfer (not thier choice) that would be a different story but that hasn't happened. Oh ya friends and clan mates transfering isn't being forced to transfer, it's an individuals decision to stay with them.
My point is that many people left because their server was dead, like Kain in my case. Their only choice to continue having the fun they used to was to transfer servers. But then after that they decided to merge our servers. Lots of us would have liked to stay on that server had we known that was going to happen. We leave because our server was dead and then they revive it with a merger.
I can totaly understand you frustration. It would have been nice to let people know that mergers were coming when they implemented transfers. I am sure many people would not have tranfered. I am also sure they new they were going to merge servers when they implemented transfers. They may not have decided on which servers to merge but they new it was coming. Bad for public relations, but good for the bottom line.
Didn't mean to be mean about my response earlier I just get a bit testy when I here "it's not fair" from someone. Unfortunatly it's use way to often when things don't go the way people think they should. As we all know there is little to nothing fair about anything. We all just have to make the best out of the desisions we make.
I would seriously consider that money is an issue here on the end of the subscriber and the paid service. Best thing to do when unhappy with what you are paying for? Contact Support.
