Well, in theory, you shouldn't have a subclass that's 75+ and a main class that's under 75... cause you need ot be 75 to sub, even though you COULD delevel after you do that, but that's counter-productive just to prove a point Q.Q
A bit of clarification: I assume the actual switches will be done during the weekly maintenances.. will it be available to switch class TOMORROW? Or will it be next week's maintenance?
(Do I seem like I'm in a hurry to switch? I wouldn't know why :P)

Man, I'm really up in the air with this one. Do I keep my Archmage as my main, with a SwS sub, or do the swap? I never play my Archmage any more, but I don't know if I want to be a male LE (in appearance).
Hi Alyra. I'm currently in the middle of the 3rd part of the nobless quests, waiting to kill Barakiel. What happen if I make the request to switch main/subclass? Will my quest get reset? If not, do I have to switch to my new subclass to kill Barakiel? I hate quests that required killing Raid bosses!
So we can we change tomorrow or start applying tomorrow and and be changed 1 week later

How do you use up Oly points? Or do the mean Gate passes?
It could be that your olympiad points are reset to 0, and to avoid crying, they want you to just give them away beforehand.....? Cause when you transfer servers, you end up on the target server with 0 points.... donno though!

actually you can switch the sex and get LE female. very neat one. :p
well. if you change your class, you can't do oly anymore using your previous class. your new class, of course, starts oly form point zero. so it has no points. actually, even if you would win with previous class, you can't take hero, because you're class changed and the system can't allow 2 heroes in one class (renewed you and a guy who doesn't switched). to be sure, they just erase all your oly progress in the month of change. mb it's some weird, hope you get it.

What happens to Subclass Certification skills exactly? Do I get my books back when they are removed from my old main class? I used the cats to switch to a subclass skill book I wanted ,...wondering if I'll get that back or not.
no you wont get books back, all skills and books get deleted, you then switch to your subclass(es) and get new books, and no you cant pick skills anymore (no cat to trade books) you are forced to use whatever skills your new subclass provides you with
as to sub quest you ll continue it on your (new) subclass
like say you are an SR with a SWS sub doing the noble quest on SWS, if you sub2main you ll have to complete the quest on your SR

Honestly, why make this an event? One time deal ok but how about actually having a "real" event in which everyone can participate. Since this goes to August 5th I guess that means nothing all summer.

It is unfortunate that they did not allow the one class this would truely benefit (Warsmith) the opportunity. It is not as though they would be subbing WS, since for this one time only event, they would b required to have a main class of WS. Being this is a one time only evemt, I don't see where it would violate the rules of sub classing.

i don't think after the change is done the game (the software) will treat players who changed any different than players who didn't. so someone with a WS/OL sub would appear as an anomaly.
then there's the fact that having WS as sub would allow you to delete/replace it
cause WS/OL special skills they are supposed to be special classes
Plus a lot of warsmiths cried pre c3 when subs were first announced "Ohhh noooooo so they ll be able to sub WS, craft their own shots and my class will be dead noooo wha wha wha" But I doubt this was of any influence
I seem to remember that the first time this event was announced, there where no time limit to do this? I have a friend who is around 1 and a half lvl away to do this event, and he wants it so bad, but will not likely be able to complete it untill August 5.

I just wanted to give ya'll a bit more information.
@Natasmurf - This is straight from QA....if you are in the middle of one of your Noblesse quests, then take part in the event, your new sublcass will retain your quest progress. So if your sub still needs to kill Barakiel, then once the change is made, your new sub will still have to kill Barakiel. Hope that makes sense.
@TheObserver - No, you do not have to detag in order to take part in the event.
@Husje - that note that says "Please use up your Olympiad points before submitting the request." simply means that, if you have enough Olympiad points to obtain gate passes, that you should do so (since Olympiad points are reset when the swap occurs). We just don't want anyone missing out on their gate passes.
I have already requested to go main to sub on my main toon on Bartz. However, I have an alt on Sayha I'd like to transfer to Bartz, and its on the same account. Can I do both transactions in the same maintenance window? While they're on the same account, its two different toons.
If anyone is still unable to select their desired class/subclass via the PlayNC site for this event, please try logging out of the game while set to your main class (not one of your subclasses), then log back in and try to access the site again. If you're still having a problem after trying that, please contact support.
Would be very nice to know if this event will happen again or if it will be part of paid account services, some ppl, me atleast have a tough time deciding if i should change my main.

you've had a few months to decide this, since the event has been announced. if that wasn't enough, you'll prolly never make up your mind.
anyway, it hasn't even been introduced as a paid service in korea yet, so i don't see it happening for us in the near future. and noone could give you a definitive answer on this.
Or maybe i just love my class(BH) but seing NC soft not really ever giving them anything knew, or even giving them better spoils at higher lvl, im uncertain if its really worth it to make it the main? they do say they updated the drop tables in this update, but who knows what that means.
Someone said that they were 'updating drop tables" in hellbound as well, but thats standard for "we added new wep/armor parts" to mob drop tables. They need to revamp drop tables...or at least be able to make s80 armor and weps out of 100bil thread/stems/metalic thread :p
i got a huge shock when i saw my hair changed
and was about to petiton (*g*) when it came to me that
we had "after downtime" and it might be an effect of the class change ;)
Would we need this event if they made the level cap the same for mains and subs? Such a simple thing to do to avoid all the frustrations expressed in so many threads.
If there are other reasons for the switch that I can't think of, they could make that a paid service.
btw Ren and I have put in for the switch :) YaY! He will be green and I will be orange! :p Was quite a struggle to get our subs from 73 to 75 from when the event started but with a little help from our friends we did it :)
When i try to run the procedure from NC Account Management Page, i took the following message
"No characters eligible for the event could be found on this game account"
