Most of the clan's support toons and the clan leader got wiped out and they won't even change leadership of the clan to another toon despite the entire clan being willing to all petition nominating one person to be the new leader so as to make ncsoft feel better because thye don't want to interfere in server politics lol.

They did it on Hindemith recently. Precedent has been set, IMO.

I don't see anything wrong here. They let botters into there clan, what do you expect would happen? :D
glad spam made the call, reguardless of the number of complaints and what "may" happen to a server due to it is irrelevent..
maybe when the whole thing is cleaned up, the servers will be less populated.. but at least they'll be far better playing fairness and grounds for someone to build upon..

I report 3rd party program users...no matter if they are my closest real life friend or not...if you can't play the game without a program to automate any of your chars or actions then you don't desserve to play L2...maybe pacman in demo mode suits you better.

I agree with this mostly, though I am POSITIVE most people are going to flame about this kind of outlook. Oh well. ^_^
I don't neccessarily take the road of not trusting anyone. I am often TOO trusting. But it really frustrates me when I see people I'm close to doing things they shouldn't do. It puts me in an awkward position, because I usually report rule-breaking behavior. BUT...I have a hard time wanting to report friends. I'm just too nice I suppose...
Conversely, I don't care what people say, if it's against the rules, it's wrong. The end. That's just how I feel. I've gotten into debates with friends about this. I WILL admit that I think NCsoft is really sloppy about doing anything about rule-breakers, but that doesn't excuse it imo.

when you get to 76, and it takes you 3 months to get 1 lvl...then L2 has problems. When your that high and your not even getting .01% a mob.

Oh I guess I am just dreaming about playing my 7x Tyrant and 7x WC'er then. The grind is only as hard as you make it. Having good friends to chat with and party with makes things go a lot easier than you make it sound mate.
If the grind bugs you so much that you have to break the rules just to get by then maybe it's you that should be looking for a different game. Maybe a Battlefield type of game where OMG there is no grind. Oh but wait that would mean you would have to play on a even field where you can't e-bay and bot your way past most others.
you know... if NC would take care of all rule breakers, this would be no issue.
but when there's thousands of EULA breakers out there and NC only bans a handful of them now & then, while the remaining 99% have no problems, then yes, it's massively unfair towards the banned ones.
Oh im not defending NC in any way here. They, at most time, seam to take there very sweet time banning farmers and botters. And yes sometimes I get sick seeing the same group bot 24/7 (knowing they are reported almost every day). And seeing that after some time atleast one of thoes bots makes hero.
But all I do is what I can and report, move on and keep having fun with my friends. :D

What's the matter? are you afraid someone will report you while you bot or something?
From your posts in this thread I think the GMs should take a close look at your account because you are deffending botting like your life is depending on it.
I don't care if it takes me 1 month or 1 year to get from lvl 76 to 77...I play this game to have fun with friends not to be 85/80/80/80 in 6 months because then the game is over.
