I always thought it was funny how every update more people leave when the game was getting better and better. Till I realize who it was really getting better 4. :(
Depends on what's left after about 6 months I was on a 6 month pay on my subscription so I'm payed up till at least the end of the year. but you won't see me as much in game but I will still be here till my subscription ends. :(
I really can't blame you...i've slowed right down too. Lionna kinda made it fun again then Aria happened and for some reason i got really upset about the seeds being lost and NC not doing anything about it.

Yes if i pm them which i did. I did not give them my account names and toon names cause i have 5 accounts on two different merged servers. I guess i should but it tees me off that i have to send them the info cause they are too incompetent to do it right.
Its like the bot thing...i have to report them... give me a break!
I mean really wtf is it with NC.
Edit: in hind sight i may just send all the info and if no crops and seeds are returned then i will ask for a refund on my accounts since i'm paid up till Feburary (i think)

No I'm really done it would take a BIG change from NC soft for me 2 come back. I just don't see that happening.
I'm non big on PVP so I really don't think they care if I'm gone.

But the secret is to not be bothered with bots, i realy dont see any big reasons for me to leae yet, i just disgard the stuff that anoys me and theres still plenty of good stuff left afterwards....

It's sad to go I really like my many friends and and the few enemy's I have made here in Lineage 2 and will miss you guys when my account Finely expires but I do have some time left on it so I will be around after all I still have a clan 2 run till I pass it on 2 someone else :)
I know but I'm on PTS right now. I even saw Spudnik makinga a tryant of course and Guess who's in my clan on PTS that might be coming back? PTS is sort of how I take a break from live. (no bots 2 deal with) I should be on live this weekend thou.

I must say the server merge really rubbed me up the wrong way. The fact NCsoft state in their reasoning for the merges (in a paraphrased way) "we want this game to be hardcore PvP", and totally ignoring the wishes of PvE'ers really does annoy me. NCsoft, why is it NEVER EVER concidered for us to have a PvE ruleset server with consensual PvP?
Anyway, L2 used to be the best MMORPG out there, now I believe it is playing catch-up. No, I'm not talking about WoW, that game is rubbish.

Actually I always cancel them whenever I renew them, because I hate the fact that they put me on autorenew without me asking for it (and also because I use a pre-paid credit card, and it's useless to have it set on autorenew if I haven't recharged the card :) )

Been having a lot of Fun on PTS with ValerieRose and Omega (he's been on PTS every day for over a week) doing raids and hunting with my PS and Great Wolf (So far I'm the only one on PTS with one ;))
Dwarfs mainly WS are going love the New Update they even get Better buffs then PP (joking). Anyway I really like the new update and I found out you can still train just not as easy as before just takes a little more work. So it's up in the air now we will see how it is back on live I have time 2 decide. ;)
Screw it. This Game is [censored] now. I took 10 Mins to take down 1 bot group which normally took 30 secs. Bots are all over witches. I only got 25 mins of leveling in before the bots rez and started botting again and after 30 mins of trying train them again I gave up. the mobs just kept disappearing. I can't even get a room and they just Botting away like it's part of the game. so I /gm reported them and left.
Thanks NC Soft for taking the one tool we had for fighting them away. I could not even level like I wanted yesterday becasue all the rooms were taken. I want my Dead Lionna server back I hate Aria. :mad:

I know and my Tent is Smelly also. But Catts are part of my Income and supplies. I use the AA for selling
getting Bless pet Rez, GSAP, GHP and if i want to change weapons for my next sub of course I need AA to get rid of SA. yes I could buy AA but then that Kills the whole point of making money off aa. Farming AA is free but Buying it is just plan dumb and mostly your going buy it from a farmer and then your just supporting the farmers.

Where should a 66 Glad hunt that has 3X or more mobs not in the Catta? I have a lvl 66 SE for buffs and this my Gear layout.
If you cannot bring the monsters to the the bot just bring the bots to the monsters drop 1 adena and another and another all around the rooms they will go and loot al until they die ;)
I do 2 box just I seen riff wipe out full parties. the catta is easy it's only 8 mobs in room and you can pull at the start to the hall till you can take over a room. in the riff you get rushed all at once.
I will give it a try but if riff all your got I don't see a reason to leave the catta.

That don't work anymore. They have a Dagger that leads the groups now and the Dwarf is just set 2 spoil and pick up loot. That use 2 work when the BH was the leader but they use daggers to lead now.
Aww Tulp, I think Gracia rocks!! The inquisitor transform rocks. The new skills rock. (and I know that for sure since I was brought down about 20 times in pvp by that ****ed blink skill without any time to cast any rez) and anyone 78 can enter hellbound now... all the power is moving from one class to another... it's getting pretty interesting!
I'm afraid C1 was the most fun for me....can't really get past that.
A year ago...actually more.... close to 2 years ago my SH hit 74 and today it sits at 74.1..... That kinda sums it up for me. :(

Well, I can relate to that. I really wasn't interested in playing any of the nukers I made. Even the Dagger I have as my sub, I love it because of various different elements (pretty interesting to play) but I really suck at it :) Even so, I'm happy I did that instead of an archer.
And I'm so happy you're happy for me!! You should level up the SH and sub a dagger lol. Quick before they nerf everything!!!!
I think the training nerf was just the final straw for Ash. They have been making the game more and more bot friendly for a while. The changes to whites attacking red(although this was a LONG time ago) where they no longer flagged purple, not dropping on death, and now they are essentially safe from being trained. And it is not just the catacombs, there are bots in lots of places most of the time, check out the varka and silenos areas, certain spots in Frozen Labrynth, probably some in Silent Valley now since the dagger books drop there.
The worst part about it is that it is almost accepted to bot now, especially since you rarely see anyone banned or punished for it.
On Dev i have a 60HE and 52TH
On Aria i have a 52HE and 59TH
So i can play whatever...don't need to sub.
Actually i am messing with a 43 Bishop and boxing a 58 SE with him....kinda boring though.
Lately the most fun i have is with a 48 Palladin with 60 WC/62 SE buffs...... boxed with a 59 BD and doing the Swamp Tribe Groups on AI. A few day before Gracie i got Plated Leather, Mithril and Chain Boots... all as full drops :)
If NC hadn't F'ed up the Plated Leather :( it would have been a grand day. :p
Well, the Subs are kind of a better idea, since you get sub skills now on your main :P I don't know what it is about people that bring so many toons to high 60s and early 70s and then go create another toon. Seems funny to me.
And maybe you are bored because you are out there by yourself and not partying with friends and clan mates. Bishop is fun in a party ... but soloing, ya, pretty boring. When you get that Inquisitor skill might be more fun.

BTW i had fun last night. Nothing like hitting that fat Kamaluka guy for 20 minutes with 2 Brigged/Jamared (Common) dorfs which i made in 2 hours. Sold the EWD overnight for 75K each and.... while i was fighting i made DSS which i also sold overnight. (now thats fun!) Afterall you won't be able to craft and sell anything below low B grade unless is ++++.
Oh yeah..and your Tweety Bird is obese...but cute :D
Pretty sure you could do WOA without problems..the Antelopes and Antelope Slave. They are 2xhp so you can wail on them for a while.
Not sure about the Bandersnatch and Bandersnatch Slaves. They may have a pretty nasty bleed effect now, and you may have a few probs hitting them because of the level difference.
Probably you would be OK for the old VOS...not sure today after reading a few posts.
And i'm sure Blazing Swamp is OK except for maybe the bats

Ummm... mobs that are 1x HP die 3 times faster than those at 3X HP with the same stats (mdef, pdef and all that).
So that means that with the time you waste killing a 3x HP mob, you kill 3 1x HP mob.
There's this crazy assumption that you level faster soloing in catas. You don't. You level a LOT faster if you choose a good open field area.
The theory is that with a 3xhp mob you save the running around trying to find three mobs. Over a period of time it would add up. That's why in the Catas the smaller 8 mob rooms are superior to the larger ones..if you can handle them.
Btw Val do you know what the 2 "shot" quests are for dwarfs. One is Jumble Tumble...what is the other. Oh and it has to be under level 18.

Yep and with my Glad' set up I can solo even the hard 8 mob rooms. 1X hp mobs are better for Nukers that don't have 2 run around much. I get over 60K XP from 1 mob in the Cata with my Wolf. Name a 1X hp mob that can give in the time it takes for me kill 1 4X hp and having to run around and fine 4 1X hp mobs. Plus with my Wolf helping I need soming that takes longer till Kill or it's not efficient with a wolf.

Jumble Tumble is the one that gives the echo crystals too. The other one is called Brigands Sweep, and it's a lvl 5 quest, Tulp :) Just need one necklace I think to get the Soulshots or something. You get it at the Elder Council, from Spiron.

Not True.
ONLY not true in the Hero rift where you are an EE or Cardinal with >+1 Turn undead.
You don't need greater than +1 undead. +1 does it just fine. :)
I've been hunting in WOA on my glad, which is just a couple of levels higher than yours, Ashley. It's a good place for glads because of our Detect skills. I don't use a wolf, however, so if you feel you kill too fast there, you might want to try Hot Springs. You can still use detect skills there and the mobs are higher level plus they're 2x or 3x HP and drop herbs.
You might also want to hunt in BS some for your noble quest, as well as TOI, unless you want to purchase the items. I personally hunted for them all (and some friends helped me by donating some as well.)
My Subscription is still canceled and so far I have no plan of renewing.
I have not level my Sub at all becasue I can't find a place to hunt that I like. I already missed the Catta's.
I have been leveling my alts becasue they can solo kama with 1 other person. but that's just the 53 Kama.
Anything Higher so far has been just 2 hard for a 2box setup. In fact I was 45% on my sub Before Ct2.1. In the process of trying find a better place 2 hunt I'm now at 37%.
I like this game but with this new update the war on BOTS has been lost so I gave up. the only reason I'm still here Figleaf is because I love this game so much I always pay for 6 months at a time. Just so happens I just paid for 6 months (ok I didn't my boyfriend did :p) 1 week before I decided 2 quit. So I'm stuck here till then.
So basically I have less then 6 months to find a place that I enjoy leveling or I'm done. :(
I just cam back to the game and I have determined that its not where you lvl, its who you lvl with. Playing with other people are more fun then playing with myself. Have even gone in groups where I would not get xp because I was too low on that particular toon, just to play with people. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing with myself, but its always nice to play with others.
yes it is and I agree but I'm not the LFG type. I have a box SE I should not have 2 wait for a group 2 go hunt. I hunt when I'm ready and when I'm hunt I'm hardcore. I don't like grouping with people that go AFK 5 mins into the hunt so your basically alone again but powerlvling someone.
Or the I'm poor type that don't use SS and your spaming SS basically powerleving again.
Or the Tank class that group with you and your spaming SS and heal pots because your the tank even thou your group with a tank but that tank don't use hate.
In fact I find the best people to group with are the New people that are trying to make it in the game but they are all under my Alts level.
That's why I like raids/kama everyone has to be alert and no one can go AFK or they get left behind or best they end up Dead :D
Grouping is fun only when your group with some one as Hardcore as your self. ;)
Oh it happened a few times that Dusk won on Kain, from what i see the one one fightings are Lionna players because on Kain often the festival was not even played by anyone.
And if it is to get a full week without bots I'm sure you can find a lot of people who share your interest ;)

You know Ashley, I really don't think it's just the bots that are creating this problem for you - IMO, level 66-67 is the hardest for a gladiator. At that point the mobs in the front of Devo turn blue, mobs farther in stun, mobs in Martyrs stun, etc. (Don't know about you but I have -8 CON!) It seems like those levels are right in the middle of good hunting spots - too high for some, too low for others.
I actually stayed in Devo till 67, even w/ half the mobs turning blue on me. 67 was like torture for several weeks as I tried out what seemed like every single hunting ground in the game trying to find a good spot.
WOA is really the best spot for a glad lvl 66-72ish, IMO. I've been hunting there several weeks now and I always can find a spot. A lot of times I'm able to get right in the front (perfect for me since I like to solo w/ CH buffs.) If there's not a spot right in the front open, I can always find a spot just a bit further in. All mobs are animals (Detect Animal Weakness+++), 2x or 3x xp (like 18 - 26k solo.) Just in the last 2 days I was able to get 85% at levels 68/69 there, playing only a few hours each day (yay vitality!)
Like I said, I don't have a wolf, but it seems like even w/ a wolf you could do OK there, maybe hunting further in than I do if necessary.
I can try that at WOA . I got a change 2 Hunt at witches today (yay bots were busy Signing up)
I was in the back which has a perfect room for my Glad.
It's the mellee resists mobs (no stun Mobs and spiders (very easy kill for Glads using Detect skill)) and with my -8 con +11 duals and 69 Wolf we just mow right thou them mobs without a problem. I was a happy camper today. :D
I know the Rest of the Week will suck thou They will all be back in witches, so I will end up at WOA rest of the week I guess :(

This is not always so. If the concentration of mobs in that open field isn't very high then xp isn't going to be as fast. It really depends on the area and on the class. A melee class for instance will have a greater appreciation for an 8 spawn cata room where he can kill everything without having to move around much a lot more than he would in some open field where he has to run between each mob.
You will earn much more xp per hour in an area with a greater concentration of mobs. it also depends on where you're hunting exactly.
