when using the skill wrath, is the amount of CP reduced related to the grade of your weapon? lets say a FS/Maestro has wrath maxed to LvL10, but not OE'd yet, and for normal pvp just uses a NG pole when using wrath, too much difference in CP reduction or barely visible? i ask as i've never really pvp'd using a pole, always blunt/bow/duals.
max lvl of wrath is 30% if i remember right and it always does 30% damage regardless of weapon
haven't looked for a while but i think mine is +5 which is 33%
yeah that was always the power of wrath
regardless of pdef or cp it always takes 30%, useless on a nuker since you can prolly just swing once to take off the same amount of cp but on all warrior classes its more damage then you will ever do with your other skills
forget about the fact that its aoe though, even in arena telling ppl to line up it's hard to pull it off ><
BTW, wrath is not calculated as doing dmg, meaning ppl that are slept/sitting/fd, will still be slept/sitting/fd ^^
very good point which is why my combo is always
armour crush
wrath (fatal strike next chron)
earthquake
whirlwind
hammer crush
to maximize damage and stun potential
+1 should give it a lvl 76 learn lvl if it follows the same logic as other skills
power of the skill is fairly low though but i guess once you add in boss jewels you don't really use stun for damage anyway
yeah it does but what else do we got ><
forgot about stun attack, back when i still played that was only a lvl 40 skill :/
Here a post I made somewhere else in this forum:
Little update.
I just oe my stun attack +0 => +7
first thing, power went from 109 to 660 (only got 5 in power for last +1 enchant so +8 should be 665 and +9 670 etc.)
second thing, with zaken+frint and few basic buff, stun attack +0 landed 16 times on 100 try on a Doomcryer 79
same stuff, same buff, stun attack +7 landed 10 times on 14 try on the same Doomcryer 79
So sure we need more tests than that to have a good landing rate but I thing this little test is enough to say that oe stun attack give a better stun landing rate. May be 'cause stun attack +0 is a level 36 skill and oe skill are 76+ skill.
Sure I did not test skill enchant +1 & I had Zaken + Frint but I was testing on a DC 79.
Off course my Hammer Crush +9 landed 9 times on 10 but still oe stun attack have a nice boost
Nice, I've slightly OE"d my stun attack, but didnt realize the change in power was that much.
Also, Nanashi tells us that FatalStrike can be OE'd for elemental damage in CT2. This will definatly become our best damage skill right? It has lots of power and +elemental damage matching weapon should be awesome. As is, my hammer crush for elemental does more damage than armor crush easily, so I'm really looking forward to seeing FatalStrike in OE'd action. :)
Earth stones do not drop as far as I know, but Wind stones do drop. You can exchange any stone for it's opposing element at aden elemental NPC near the blacksmith. Fire<->water, Wind <-> Earth, Holy <-> dark. So, you'd actually need to farm a few windstones and even-exchange them for the earth.
That said...wind stones are now pretty difficult to obtain. They primarily drop from the dark water dragons and minions in Isle of Prayers- Chromatic Highlands area, and killing them takes a bit of work...
As a side note, The only elemental OE effect available on our polearm skills is Earth, as opposed to Fire/Water/Wind/Earth on blunts....
well, yes. but before hellbound update you could get away with jsut having to kill shades, they would come in an endless stream of mobs, now you cant do that as the dark water dragon will come too if you attack shades and the shades will eventually stop spawning.
ok so a question. if i only upgrade my wrath skill and NOT my polearm mastery (i only used to upgrade my blunt mastery since never did aoe, but single target grind), is the reduction in CP still 30%? or is the p.atk, when using wrath, related to the reduction in CP?
