Collect 37 parts to create a set of "Olympic Rings" that gives you a 1/10000000000 chance of getting something worthwhile. Takes up regular inventory spots and canot be above 60% when turning them in. (parts 1-36 drop every mob while part 37 has a 1/100000 drp rate)
That is the general even template (aside from the non-event events where all there is is a gate keeper.)
Hmm, didn't we have an olympics event last time, I guess 4 years ago. Seems like something where every race competed with the others by killing mobs or some junk of course. Winners got some kinda prize...think DE's won. Seems like it was prelude or C1.

Yes, hence the "Part II" in my title. The DE's won on every server as far as I know. But that was back when DE's owned in just about every way. The game was still young and 40+ was considered high level. I think the results now would be different, if we were to compete along racial lines again.
We probably won't get an event because all of our events have been recycled events from Korea or other countries. Since the Olympics are not like a holiday that occurs at a different time of year per country or that occurs every year (so that we could use last year's event), Korea will be having their Olympic event at the same time we would need it, thus not giving NCNA any time to copy/translate/recycle the event for us.
In other words, I can't see NCNA either having the ability to run their own original event OR NC Korea sending the event to NCNA early enough so that they have time to fix it and run it here for us.
