3. No? I wouldn't have done that? Try me. In WoW I found out that one of my clan members was /afk in battlegrounds while he was trying to make "High Warlord"(basically Hero). I gave him three days to apologize to his clanmates and the server for what he had done. When he didn't I unceremoniously booted his [censored] to the curb with no chance of coming back. He quit the game.
Fun guy, but he let his aspirations get the better of him. I had no qualms whatsoever doing it.
4. You have pics of NM botting? Post them. Go nuts. I don't care. NM is fun people for sure, but if they are doing something wrong then by all means post/petition away. In this instance it just happened to be a member of "Enchanted" that had a room I wanted. I snapped a few pics then took the room. It's not rocket science. If there was a member of NM there "automating"...it'd still be my room and they'd still be petitioned.

Yeah, yeah I know...they weren't botting. They just didn't answer, ran in a line all over the place, didn't react to me chain stunning their healer, completely disregarded me killing the healer, and auto-logged because they were scared of the Dwarf in C-grade.

Just to be clear, I mentioned BlackWatch/TheGenesis because of a gank run that happened where I went red earlier in the evening. Those people were not botting. AFK? Yes. Botting? No. When the party was attacked the one person who was exp'ing ran almost immediately and the others got killed sitting where they were. None of it looked automated at all.
Two incidents. Same night. Completely different situations. I was just responding to the question about me going red.

A common complaint and completely understandable. The highest toon I have is level 58 so this is pretty much the best I can do. If I'm lucky I'll run into some subs on my way up. ;)

FYI, someone took 'Hirakata' before the server transfer, so he changed his name. I'm assuming since he hasn't pm'd you as he did me, he most likely just wants some peace. You'll know when he decides to be active again, as he has never been shy to 4% anyone he considers a cheat, and you'll realize its him while you are taking a dirt nap. :eek:

FYI noone can take it as being aware of who Hirakata is here but me, I've been practising the guy for 3 years and there is no way anyone can end up differently on L2 as far as he is concerned, unless you decide to 200% do everything he asks and more... Please don't try and act like getting his name changed was a way to get "incognito", since he announced it anyway on french boards and never changed his behavior, which is quite unique and recognizable...
The funniest part was when "Rubinia" finally stopped and there was that pregnant pause before they tried to play it off as if nothing had happened. It only took them 10 minutes for someone to come back to their PC and react to being flagged on, chain stunned, and generally hounded. Try a less trafficked location.

It's HaG...I had no doubt as to what would happen. They are class acts. If it means anything to anyone I tried contacting HaG leadership before I did anything else.

I agree there is a high water transportation problem on this server. Gustin was cleaned of it mostly. But those screenies don't necesarily show that in this case that person was water transport. maybe if you killed him gone red and took screenies of the reponse, which might not actually show anything concrete either but would have shown more.
As far as NM being boaters well the one I saw wasn't boating but he/she was using someting to log out and into the game. you know to lose mob agro targeting. It wasn't a lag spike because this person was in conversation with me. But I do keep what I saw in my mind so I know if NM spouts about anti cheaters I know the truth. Oh yeah this person is still active in NM.

But he didn't ignore me...at least not when he got back to his PC. Prior to that it was auto-buff, perfectly linear movement from one mob to the next, and no reaction whatsoever to countless text queries, PVP flagging, and stunning. Sorry chief, but I have never encountered that from anyone even if you say that's exactly how you roll.

It was ten solid minutes of me hitting him and stunning him and then a painfully obviously moment where he finally stopped and answered as if nothing had happened. Take a stopwatch and sit for ten straight minutes. Now imagine that someone if slapping you and screwing with you so much that completing even the simplest of tasks is **** near impossible. That's a long ten minutes. That's a frustrating and excrutiatingly long ten minutes. Can I slap you for ten minutes Krakatoa? You said that you wouldn't do anything, so that'd be cool right?
As far as being police: as I told a person in Vent, I could care less what farmers/automators do. Yeah, it's cheating whatever that means. NCsoft's problem, not mine. Take a look at the screen caps. Take a look at where they were snapped. Each spot is either a nice place to do a quest or a decent location for spoiling mobs. The people automating there had ****** me off. It's not a crusade, it's my [censored] free time. All I wanted to do was spoil some mobs or do a quest. I left the toons alone until I get frustrated enough to do something about it. If those people wanted those mobs then they should have been at their PC's to fight for them.
If they had picked a spot way off in BFE with no quest mobs and crappy spoils then I wouldn't have given a ****. They got caught because they got greedy. "Rubinia" was automating less than one-hundred meters from the port. That's dumb. It's also annoying to folks who wanted those same mobs and that same convenience.
But those screenies don't necesarily show that in this case that person was water transport. maybe if you killed him gone red and took screenies of the reponse, which might not actually show anything concrete either but would have shown more.

Let me help you out:
A. Most people don't care. Why should they?
B. Most clans don't care. They want players more than they want to be respected. Even I can understand that.
C. The people/clans that do care can look at those shots at see everything they need to see.
Even if I did get fraps, make videos, and host them it still wouldn't make a difference. These are just the people who annoyed me and this is my way of saying, "You took my mobs. Now, if anyone cares, they'll know that you're a cheater."

We dont care. We cant fight against it by kicking and/or not inviting. We just have some rules that are not supporting leaving clan and if u drop clan u lose ur lets call it "inclan fame" so soon or late these guys are leaving the clan by their own.

Yeah the afk xping/farming/whatever seems more rampant than it ever was. Many of the catacombs have a boat party in every room (or so it seems).
Now because of a recent update, where you cannot pull catacomb/necropolis mobs more than a certain distance, its now nearly impossible to train bot parties. Scav used to train them while I watch his back.
I always figured there should be ways to ensure the client being used is the real deal and not some illegal 3rd party software. But seems like all the major MMRPGs regardless of the publisher are having bot problems.
Guess what I would like to see NCSoft do is to create an Angel of Death character that moves randomly from place to place one-shotting any bots in its path (with a chance the bot will drop gear).
But your screenies and the discription you gave didn't say anything about 10 minutes of greifing. If the screenies did occur over the 10 min span then yes I would have said someting. but the bad thing about screen shots there isn't away to show elapsed time unless you have your map open for each shot. If the stated time did occur then good job.

People tend to keep track of the name changes, and a blatent cheater is always to be discovered, even if he changes his name, for at one time or another he'll boat again...

It seems that you guys from Phoenix have more problems with our "Afk exping" friends than in Aria, but we have our issues there too. I remember exping on Pilgrims with my necro when she was like 35, we had a party going of like 5 people and bots tried to take over our room. We killed all of them (I still have 2 PK's... ew!) and when they respawned after the force log, the dorf started to be controlled by someone. And he tried to train us by getting the mobs from the other catacombs, except that he failed miserably and trained himself! We never laughed so hard in vent.
I'll have to film Varka this weekend man you wouldn't believe it. Bugs me for the same reasons bro. It is in the way of my varka mains and s grade armour recs .

Regarding my ex clan, it's a long story and you are probably not the kind of person that I would sit down and discuss, but I haven't regreted joining them when I was lvl 1 and knew nothing about Gustin. And this is because I met great people there and as legit as you will never be.

Speaking of bots, feel free to shout out when u spot Yachiou. I'd like to pleasure myself in pk'ing that bot with autorez on a few more times. He came up to a lowbie party in EV and asked for party and after they told him "no ty" he came back and pk'ed them on his S grade. haha. Then told them the buffers were on his KOS list. o he's so manly! hubba hubba. Anyway I went to pay back the favor and found him botting in EV with Auto-rez on. He returned to keyboard after about 10 rezes/deaths to mobs. His bot buffer is Apothecarie tagged in some no name clan (I forget). Why do most botters have to be ******s/e-thugs? Must be a common personality trait they share. Anyway, if u see him around do a shout out pls, I just want to give him a few more hugs and kisses is all. Compliments of my lowbie friends :)

kapp = Ragna. DarksigneD bot out there too still, which also is Ragna.
I usually kill kapp, and he brings his little dwarf to BREZ him. Forgot the name of the Dwarf and clan, I'll get that later today when I get him again.
Not really, you still get spots on Soldiers, Captains are nearly completly free and there are some General spots left too. If you time your killing good enough you can even take the mobs of the AoE puller :p
