I would like some ideas about leveling a 72-75 HE. The problem is that the few highest spots of VoS, the nice FoD spots and of course WoA are more or less constantly "occupied".
I have standard gear and I can duo with a level 56 PP.
Btw, I know how to get nice exp in larger groups but they are not always available, so I'm looking for alternatives.
Check out Blazing Swamp, Othewise I generally fall back to less-optimal spots in FotD. I've tried WoA, but the mobs seem a bit too far apart for me. You could try beast farm, but again it just seems to be low xp per hour compared to FoD or BS.
I can just say the same: FoD and Wall of Bots are 1 of the best lvl spots for a Duo! I never tryed it but i heared that Hot Springs *Bot Springs on Teon*is a good exp spot! U ever tryed Silent Valley? Underneath the Giants Cave?? Its 70+ and i can solo there , but im not sure how a Archer can handle those mobs! Get around 7-8k each mob and they die fast !
After reading the replies I did some tests, with the following results:
Blazing Swamp is more or less full. I could find a spot in the "moat" between Aden Castle and the swamp, but it only has 3 mobs so I didn't like the spawn rate. In the proper area the player must be careful about some tough bat groups.
Silent Valley seemed promising but turned out bad. The problem is that some mobs are archer-resist. Specifically, there are 2 in each group of 5. They are slow, so I tried to just kill the other 3, but soon the valley was filled with these Huge Footmarks! Combined with the presence of higher (78?) giant creatures, some of them archer resist too, it made the place feel unhealthy for longer stays.
Wall of Argos gives very good exp. The mobs are apart, yes, but that's a feature for archers (and will be more so in the next update). The problem is, of course, that the spots are taken by our beloved soulless, sometimes there are even two bot groups in each spot.
Forest of the Dead gives very good exp, too. Very good spawn rate and even better exp during the night (but you need a live healer). There are almost no bots here, only in very early spots. A common problem is that it's tough to find a spot. I found annoying at times the fact that the camera is very awkward to use. There are so many hills and trees that I kept being attacked by mobs I could not see.
Beast Farm is funny to go for a brief time, to 1- or 2-shot the little critters, but the exp is not very good overall. The reason is that you have to feed the mobs in order for them to grow into better-exp versions, which obviously suits a melee character and not an archer. If you can make a trio archer-spoiler-buffer, it works wonders and gives some excellent drops too. But for archer-only I do not recommend.
I don't think it's viable to go to Hot Springs with the configuration I had in mind. That place is more suitable for S grade archers plus it's overrun with bots. It's a nice place to restock your arrows however, because the bots just leave them on the ground.
For the sake of completeness: You can also try Valley of Saints at level 71. The highest spots have mobs of levels 66-67, but they are few and almost always full of bot nuker duos.
Wall of Argos The problem is, of course, that the spots are taken by our beloved soulless, sometimes there are even two bot groups in each spot.
I think you are the one that is complaining.
I was trying to give you some advice as to how to work around them as they are part of the game...but whatever...figure it out for yourself.
