HE or TH

Human Classes Started Last reply 19 posts
Hey guys so I need some advice. I need to decide on which to go, HE or TH. I know they are both FoTM DD's but I like em!

Anyways, I need to know which would do better. A TH with a main dagger and a bow to pull the enemy in or a HE with a dagger for close combat? Which does better with the other's weapon?

I hope that makes sense it's like 2:15 am here.
imo HE more fun,
You can use a HE using a dagger till b grade or use a dagger carrying a bow with you.

I can't really say more, TH's are fun, but well I haven't made an archer class...
i suggest bounty hunter

I suggest you wait until Gracia comes and we all see how good HEs are with the archer nerf ;)
Prophet ;)
I've played both till 60 or so and from my experience i would say a TH is alot more fun.
This Dagger Mastery random buff is the *****s...i mean it really rocks :p
In the cats you can easily solo single mobs by using lure plus with silent moves you can pretty well go anywhere you want unseen by mobs. By using a combo of these skills you can pull aggro/social mobs one by one.
Also the daggers are getting some love from NC where archers are recieving "balance" :p
TH! :)
the person above is right, the dagger mastery rocks :P
your in the cata hitting the mobs then dagger mastery kicks in, u use a skill and "Lethal Strike!" mob's hp drops all the way down or usually at least 50% of the total hp is gone :P everyone in party loves u for your lethal shots

i've never played a HE but i rarely see them in cata's donno if that means anything, but i know i really enjoy my TH and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great DD and fun pvp class.
just my opinion :) they're both good at different things but im sure you'll be using a dagger through B grade whether you're a HE or TH it's a good money saver cause you only have to buy soul shots instead of keeping track of arrows and soul shots.

what dagger mastery skill are you talking about?
its a passive skill or w/e it just comes up for 4-5 seconds at a time and increases crit rate (something like that) no way to predict when its coming or control it, just comes on sometimes its just called "Dagger Mastery"
With dagger mastery, when you get a crit with a dagger, you have a chance of gaining a buff that increases the land rate of your stabs.

... I think.

It activates randomly in combat. Ive seen many times by only getting hit, whitout attacking.

Now about the 1st question, if u want dmg output, be good in raids and in pvp go HE.
if you want to be good in raids, be a tank, bishop, buffer, nuker, or good DD, if you want to be good in PvP, pick a nuker, offensive tank, High DDer, summoner, Orc mage(either or)

And what DD'er is a "good DDer" or a "high DDer"? Wouldn't HE and TH qualify in both areas?
I had a Treasure Hunter and he was a blast. I'm just now getting into this archer thing, and I will admit it's nowhere near as fun. That's why I hope to level my Rogue quickly to a TH, so I can go back to having a blast. (Deleting characters due to getting new accounts sucks >.<)

I rolled an archer to be an immediate threat in PvP. Whereas, a dagger user takes some time and patience, and a wealthy knowledge of when to use his skills and why. A lot of the spat on skills they get are really helpful.

But, do what I did if you want. When it came time to pick my second class change...I literally flipped a coin on it because at the time I didn't care. But I think personally the dagger users are more fun, and I agree with the previous posts.
Yeah i chose TH and so far it's been really fun. I beat a friendly PW who was four levels ahead of my 10 for 10. I got owned by an AW though, he was quite a bit higher though and i'm only level 41 so that could explain a lot. lol.
Hello,

I have simillar problem.
I am 37 Rogue and soon i will be doing 2ndclass change quest.
and i dont know what choose.

TH or HE.

For now i really enyoing playing Dagger, its fun and cheap ( SSD)
But i have 2 duals with party firends and they just ownz me easy :(

Before thati was 100% sure to go TH but now.
Maybe HE. Useing bow so should be nice VS other Archers and mages. Yey they annoing me.

But howabout exping ? its easy, hard. Whay bout lvl? fast, slow, pain in the neck.

Dagger mastery spawn randomly 5 second buff ..its spawning quite often ..like every 5-15 seconds during fight. It reduce MP consumption for blows and increase blow/critical land ratio.
Yeah ..its cool ..my dager no longer run out of mana :)

Don't judge PVP at your level.. Things change.. a lot! In mass PVP range is king though.

Both will xp relatively fast and easy.
