And here I was thinking I'd just test it out, only to see the "Refused" message on it... apparently not.
Umm... so hi again? :p At least until August, 28th, and hopefully the new update will hit the live servers before that...
In any case, since the testing went differently than I expected, I guess I should say hi again. At least for a month... for now...
PS: I hate this stupid game that always lures me back. I wasn't hoping to be back THIS soon, but since my testing didn't go wrong, I suppose I'll try to enjoy a month or something :p
I did, I did, Armie... but it was an accident. I was thinking of coming back but not THIS soon :) I was planning on paying for one account only once the new update would hit the live servers, but I guess NCSoft's laughing at my back for not knowing I still had money on my pre-paid card. Oh well. Now I have a month to play and logged in and just wanted to go back on the PTS... I'm getting spoiled.
Any news on when it'll hit the live servers? In the meantime I'm making space on my account for my new Necro :)
PS: Got the scare of my life though... first time logging in after the merges, logged in Aria... only to find Valerie at lvl 1 and NO OTHER toons. I was about to send a bomb to NCSOft's quarters, when I decided to log back in and found everyone there, safe and sound, with no name issues. :p

Thing is, now I'm here, I'm hoping the PTS will come live before my month's over heh...

In any case, I'm back until the 28th, at least. Hopefully I'll find some reason to play on the live servers again (my main has a broken armor set since the helmet is locked on my SE's account -sigh-), who knows. But at least I can post on the forums again! I missed that!
That's how I'm feeling. And the worst is that I could have saved the 14 bucks for when CT2 comes live lol... oh well...
I guess I'll just have to find something to do in the meantime, and hopefully NCSoft will launch CT2 sooner than expected, just like they did with the Kamael update! -crosses fingers-
It'd be perfect if they launched it in 7 days, then it'd be exactly the time I can make my new char :) But I don't think they'd launch it this early heh... unfortunately.
I wouldn't get too excited about Aria, even with the new update. All the little kids that left Lionna to go play with others of their own age have been replaced with a bunch of new ones from Kain who harass, smacktalk and pk with regularity. Its far from the tranquility that was Lionna.
However, if you appreciate PvP, Aria certainly has that, just want to let you know how it is. Have fun on the PTS, I'll be on that too for a while.
Shadow, ES's won't have Death Spike and all the neat thingies that PS's are getting ;)
And umm Alexis, what Ashley said. When I started on the PTS, I was wondering what I'd do, since there wasn't much I wanted to test in overall except for the vitality thing, new buffs and quests. So I went through the myriad of alts that I have (mentally, of course) and found out that the only thing I hadn't tried was a Necromancer. So I was like "Ok, so on the PTS, I'll make a Necro". And I was SO sure I'd find them boring (no offense to Necros, of course :p)...
... and I bit my tongue. Because I found out that they are basically everything I've always wanted from a nuker AND a summoner. Basically because I hate nuking just for the pure nuke, so nukers became boring to me past lvl 30. And although I do like the summoners (I have my Warlock and my Phantom Summoner), I always hated the fact that without the summon, they were pretty much useless... that, and the fact that I hated to be my summon's buffer, so I would always play with light armor and an offensive weapon... which is not only expensive but also kinda silly since past a certain level, the damage the summoner does isn't even CLOSE to the summon...
And with the Necro I found myself enjoying summoning the skellie to help me fight and helping him with nuking the mobs... or if I'm tired of playing with the summons, I can just become a nuker again... and the curses! OMG! The curses are awesome... So I kinda found out that the Necros are the 2 in 1 class I had been looking for in a while. Just that I had never tried them before, in 3 years of L2. Silly me :p
So umm... hopefully we'll have any idea of when CT2 is hitting live servers :) -fiddles thumb-
Rosalina, I'm far from excited about Aria... in fact, it's one of the things that I don't like coming back to... but I also don't feel like restarting from scratch somewhere else yet, and all my friends play on Aria... so I have little choice... And about the harassment, I kinda thought that'd be the case, but there's also the fact that in a way or the other, I've always managed to stay away from those, except in RARE occasions. And the fact that I try to keep a good relationship with everyone helps, I think. Although kiddies looking for PvP won't really bother if I'm nice to them or not :p
In any case, for those of you on the PTS, I'm there as ValerieRose, if you want to talk to chat or hunt or anything. Gets lonely with no one to talk to... except Ashley and her myriad of alts! And the wolf... of course, can't forget the wolf...

And the reason she created that Necro is because it was the ONLY toon she didn't have yet! She's alt-addicted !! and we <3 her.

And you're partially right, Necros and the Orc fighters are the only toons I don't have (And I don't like the look on Orc Fighters, no offense intended :)).
