Yesterday in Forsaken Plains I picked up the Zariche sword. I had never ever had it before so had no idea what I was doing. I was running around a little, asking what on earth I should do when about 20 LittlePigs slaughtered me and stole it. Then I get told I could have had around 100m adena which is exactly what I need right now.
Today, I pick up... Akamanah. By this point, I'm shaking and immediately SoE to clan hall. I'm told that if I SoE I'll go to Floran where I can sell it. So I SoE and end up outside Schuttgart weapon store and am killed by TinyToppie.
Heh you should have logged off and logged in another toon, get the person to pay you on that toon, and then log the Zariche toon again after the person's waiting on the meeting point.
But I have to agree, getting the TWO swords twice in a row is a weird luck indeed! When I got Zariche, way way back with my Human Knight, I was so fascinated that I didn't think of selling it. So after 5 minutes, a hero one-shot me. Whee? :p But still I had the time of my life with that sword hehe!
The swords have a timer, yes, but honestly, unless you're one of the "big guns", you'll never get to see the timer. But it's more than enough time for you to log off and announce you're selling it. If you keep it, 99.99% chances are that you'll be slaughtered within 5 minutes. If so.
Since you're on aria, you totally could have sold it. Usually if you're in the open field you're fair game though. But yeah selling the sword is not uncommon. and 50-80 m is pretty common (usually 10-15 mil before and then the rest after).
And Spud is asking a good question... if you were killed INSIDE Schuttgart, Alexis, isn't that an exploit, since even Zariche can't be killed by players inside town? (They could be chased by the guards, but that's another thing)
you cant attack a normal Red player inside town. Train them with guards, yes. but Guards should die very very quickly to the Zariche even without the zariche leveling up.

That's what I thought, Spuddy... mmm...
Weird. If she was killed inside town by a normal player, isn't that a bug, exploit or something? Assuming that she was indeed killed inside town.

SoE'd ans wound up just out of town. Anything not in the Dion area seems to do that if you soe when red (gludin area and anywhere above Death Pass cause you to go to random locations by the nearest town).
her clan hall is inside suggart, someone told her that if she soe'd she'd be in floran when the honest truth is if you soe when red, you end up outside the nearest town, when you die as red then u can end up in floran.
Yes, I was in my Clan Hall in Schuttgart, used an SoE (after being told I'd go to Floran ) and it took me outside Schuttgart, opposite the weapons store where I was killed.
Can you even enter the clan hall as Zariche?
yes you can.
the OP must not have used a CHSOE. or don't even a have a clan hall.
of course back when I got it you didn't transform so it might have changed?
I had it once got to use it for about 20 minutes just as my buffs were running out and i was soeing (was in pagan's great for a rune clan hall) I was one hit by a dagger :( **** de's and their low hp.
Gratz to you to get them both, especially so close together. Wow.
The Zariche and Ahkmanah aren't very powerful when they are first picked up. You have to level them. What is usually done is people come to clan hall or castle, w/e, and die repeatedly until the sword(s) are the proper level.
Im just curious here, asuming i ever get those swods... which i never have.... u can BOSE to CH and that will work?
also, i know its a big seller on Aria and i would prolly contact someone from the big clans and try to have them buy it. I want to know, would you say (On aria) that if u manage to lvl up the sword, that it could be worth more? Or do they just prefer to have the sword n lvl it up themselves? just curious here....
So maybe 50-80mil clean but 100mil + if lvled up? i duno just guessing.....
Also, since i never realy had the swords, is there any info on the swords that let you know the lvl its at?

seriously dude you have no clue.
First yes you can Bsoe to halls with it, the OP was probably co.cky with it, and thought they could take people out with lvl 0 sword. You have to have atlest lvl 6, max it can go to is lvl 10.
Best is to try to get your clanies to stand in the fort, castle, or a loc, and port into them, then leave 2 minutes later. You can try killing bots with it if you'd like...but not likely you'd last long doing it in that manner.
Also 100m is nothing, With those things you can make easily 4 times that if you farm the right places.
Thx for info.. and nope NO CLUe. I know right, but i never got the swords since it was implemented and no friends of mine or clannies have been that lucky, so i have no experience with that concept expect that you go red n look awsome when you have them... :p
And i got a titan, i dont think me running to it everytime it spawns is good for my heart... i move waaaay to slow and will just endup waisting my time geting there....lol
But this info is nice now, its what i needed to give me a good general idea of how it all works :)

That's what you're supposed to do with it. it's not made to level. its made to go kill people (else what on earth would be the point of no pk penalty, infinite karma, no exp loss)

you still believe the stupid crap response that NCsoft gave about it.
IT's made for PvE, with a side bar of some PvP. It's a extremely powerful weapon that uses no SS, and kills mobs in heart beats. You use it to freely grind money, and do quest with high lvl rewards (IE: EW/S).
with the weapon you can easily make 500-700mil in the few days u get to use the weapon. And thats from quest only not including adena, drops, etc.
I've had both demon swords in the same week, although on different toons.
If you use a normal SOE or BSOE, it will just port you to the nearest town, albeit a distance away. If you have enough BSOE's you can outrun all of your attackers. Random ports aid you.
It also helps to know your town port proximity spots.
And for those of you who played this game back when running was the only way to get around, it also helps to know which mountain ranges you can cross on foot.
I got the Zariche in FoTD and made it to Dion before the posse caught up with me. Naturally, I wanted to be caught. Otherwise I would have just logged my dwarf who has town scrolls, including Floran, and played cat and mouse all day long.

town scrolls dont work when you have one of those weapons

In that case, it's a good thing I didn't try it. :)
