Dark Elf Classes Started Last reply 7 posts
ok so i just left wow for this wonderful game, my what a breath of fresh air!! now thats out of the way, i need some opinions/help!

i am currently lvling up a dark elf palus knight lvl 23. i got some gear from someone i met in the newbie zone so im pretty boss for my lvl, full brig armor, titan sword and about 2m to work with :) ty Kordesh!!

i want a class i can solo with if need be, party like a rockstar, and pvp if the situation reveals itself. i came from pvp server on wow where alliance out numbered us 4 to1 so im used to gettin ganked :) i was looking into going BD up until lvl 23 when i got some skills that brought on some questions ill get to in a second. so whats a good end game class to do all of the above :) SK? BD? reroll... (id like to stay a blood elf if at all possible)

now with hitting lvl 24 i got some skills that made me seem i was making a semi tank...aggresion is the skill in question. i trained 1 lvl in it just fun :) and maybe to help in a sticky situation..cuz its like a big taunt! but i had plans on making a damage dealer not so much a tank. then i got to reading on the SK and they sound mean as hell and i like that, where as BD kinda seem like a bard with minimal damage as a backup.

im just kinda curious before i drop a whole lot of blood sweat and tears into one dude just to have him be a banker alt >< (thats the WoW mentality thats be etched in my brain since 4 years ago)

anyways wow, first post on these forums and i feel like i need to get a publisher!!

ty for all your help and taking time to read it all!

cheers
Duals are the most expensive weapon *heads up*

I lol'd. :P Another heads up, the grind in WoW is nothing compared to the grind in L2. Also, try not to guage what you play by end-game content. It will be quite some time before you actually get to end-game, unless you play to level while afk, if you catch my drift. You are correct that BD isn't actually a DD class, and SKs are notorious for being crappy tanks. Take a look at the Dark Elf section of the forums here. Do some reading. Then decide what you want to play.

BD's can do decent damage but they are a sort of Bard. True that. And you have to stay on top of your dances.

SK can be interesting and has a lot of skills. I have no idea how it does in pvp.

At the moment, the top of the pvp chain (in no particular order) are Archers, Mages, Daggers.

Archers and mages are not asked for in parties usually so unless you have a good clan that is all inclusive you might find yourself soloing quite a bit.

I think the better thing is to tell us what you played (and liked in WoW and we will try to give you the nearest L2 class.
hmm very informative video, thanks! wow blood elf...really? fail. and what i played in wow was a prot warrior for my raiding guild and rogue for my pvp endeavors, the tank was fun and i did my job well but lack of end game content made him kinda fall off. the rogue was by far the most fun, i really enjoy ganking ppl :o

so i guess im stuck cuz i have already chosen the path of PK so yeah...idk :(

What are you talking about? Stuck? You've been playing for days. In the scheme of Lineage 2 that means nothing. Reroll if you want. Otherwise you will regret it later on.

If you normally like rogue then I suppose a dagger class. Or perhaps Archer if you like being a pk'er. Make sure you are not pk'ing a member of a very powerful alliance or you might be KoS for the rest of your term. you should probably have someone to back you up if you are going to do that or be part of another powerful Alliance.

And there are no Blood Elves. Light and Dark. Each Unique.
