Leveling a HE from 55

Im trying to find a good place to XP my HE/SE duo. The problem is, when I ask people ingame where they lvled their archer, they always give me a place where the XP kinda sux. And when I get there I notice that all the mobs are not social and the place is crowded with archer bots.

Here is an example Ive been told by several other archers that forsaken plains is great xp for my lvl (unsocial mobs and heavilly botted). Per kill it is, Or I can do to the Cemetary (high density social mobs and no bots)and hold a pit with a high mob density and I dont really have to move, meaning more XP per buffround.

It would be nice if someone dropped me some hints on where a good place to XP a 55HE/52SE duo is. I picked SE because with EMP it dosent need to waste shots rooting mobs if I accidently pulled too many. What I dont want is someone who always seems afk but still flies through the levels telling me where I should grind, if ya know what I mean.

Forsaken Plains is absolutely the best place for you for many levels. Even if there are bots there, you want to cherry-pick the mobs anyway. You want to run around and range-hit every Shaman you can find. The ones that transform into tigers will give you 11k XP solo. The non-shaman tigers in the area will come to that shaman's aid, so beware. The tigers are also great XP.

So if there are botters, just let them take the overlords and gargoyles and you stick to the shamans. You can also use entangle to hit the shaman to save on arrow/shot cost (since the ones that transform ignore your first shot.)

50 +/- to 60 i did Enchanted Valley. The Satyr, Treants, and Unicorn Elders. They are 3x hp. Although a HE i used a dagger cause it was cheaper and with a SE it will work good.
If you keep the SE in party i would suggerst you melee him/her.
I used focus Duals for the SE.

If you have good gear, you may be able to do the first spots in VoS.

I did my leveling in Frozen Labyrinth. I had standard gear (BoP+3, BO+0 jewels, PL+3 set) and PP buffs.

Forsaken Plains is so full of bots that's usually not worth it, you end up chasing the mobs as they spawn.

Best buffer for archer is PP. You can certainly do with SE, but you need GSAPs.

About the root thing, I'm not sure how you do it, but I don't think using your box to root in tough situations is a dependable strategy.

I would rather grid with PP buffs, but I already had the SE from mu BH/SE duo. and haste isnt an issue I made sure my BH/WS collected up everything I needed to grind well into A grade so I have somewhere around 400 gsap in the WH. would like greater might tho on a regular basis. With rchg I can also use alot more atk skills incase it gets thick.

With that setup you should be able to pull groups of panthera and aoe them (one hit per mother plus one burst). There is a specific spot with two such groups plus gargoyles, I suggest you go there asap.

It's a real pity the books from the Frozen Lab mobs are now worthless. One could make millions upon millions there!
