Its been over a year since I've seen the bot trains running through Giran like i've seen in the past week. They are also filling up areas that were very available before the merge. So PVE is much Worse especially for a soloer like me when they just move in and take over the area I'm in.
On the other hand its nice to have a lot more real players on the server too. Prices don't seem that different to me, though some are definetly going up.
So i'm not sure. I'm leaning on the not good side though.
It's nice to have more players on the server indeed, but as stated the bot infestation we face again is making the PVE side less of an amusement (specialy for the soloers). As a group we managed to kinda bug the bots out of our area by attacking mobs faster then them, but as a solo player you kind of get kicked out.
Politics....I have no clear view yet of how it all will unfold. I wait and see.
Prices are wako on some and generous on others...
For now it's a "wait and see" attitude I'm holding. For good or for bad, time will tell.

Getting the feel of Erica under FOB, and that's not good.
More live players, a lot of ganking (I suppose that is what Jodi is referring to as reminders of FOB times), better prices (at least for Ericians as Nuku said) better and bigger market.
So far I think the change was overall for the better.
I'll give it an overall and unexpected positive. It is nice having the increased economic activity from the larger population, there seems to be more crafting going on so key mats that were not in demand now have buy shops in Giran. Prices for many things are down which is good for buyers but bad for sellers. Since each transaction has one buyer and one seller, I don't see how lower prices can always be called a good thing, the seller is hurt when the buyer is happy.
