So I am coming back this sunday, and first thing I am doing is starting a second account and running both at the same time to level up for a fun side project when I am in need of a break from my gladiator (Which is RARE)... But! I wanna do 2 characters of the same race. So I was thinking of making Twin Characters, and I came up with the following possible combos:
DE:
SK + SE
Human:
DA + Priest
Elf:
SS + TK
Orc:
Tyrant + WarCryer (Don't really like orcs but I know the buffs are the best out of all buff classes)
And I was trying to think of a Dwarf combo but since they are just fighters I couldn't think of a complimenting set... So if it came down to it I might just level up a WS + SE for practical reasons...
Anyway, if you were running a twin combo, what would you run as? (btw I am pretty set on what I wanna do, I just wanna get a good convo going! =D )
For fun and lots of adena: 2 dwarves. Warmisth will be buffer soon so that solves the problem of two fighters.
The best option since orcs are green and ugly would be sws and tk. Both get might aura and shield aura, ww, tk has healing cubic, and haste2 comes in a bottle. You're set to go.
oh there's alot of options. I would think though the most fun would be a warlock(im biased) + pp. Or a Spellhowler + SE. SwS and TK is an interesting combination. Neat Idea.
mixing melee and magic is a bit difficult when youre gearing Heavy + robes. given the new ability of EE, SE and Bishop to solo with nukes, i'd say sorc+bishop, EE+sps, SE/SH. this would mean youre all in Demon, or Karmian, then Avadon, and DC. and all those sets are just fine for both sets.
now, if you wanted to do something a bit different with your existing characters, try a Subclass twin. i.e. if youre a WC main, sub a tyrant and box another WC. if youre a Dwarf Main sub a buffer, and box another dwarf.
You can name 1 of the toon like "ABOLISHED" and the other one "AB0LISHED"...Give ppl more hard time to know who is who... :p

Old habits from when I didn't have the ability to change my forum name or have the one I wanted... I don't even think about it any more. I just type it.
I like the idea of the Elven combo sinse elves are in short supply on my server. All I see are SRs and that gets old fast. But rather than SwS / TK I would recommend SwS / EE. A few weeks from now EEs will get a nice nuke, and they have complimenting buffs.
At very high levels EEs can give clarity so that you can keep up even more songs than usual, and if you choose to go the sword & shield route, than the EEs can give advanced black and such to make up for the lack of masteries.
Also, SwS is NM leather with a Tallum Blade (Haste) is extremely fun in PvE... (you can also switch out the tallum for a Dragon Slayer with Crit Drain if you prefer the extra damage..) either way the SwS is a monster in PvE and the EE will just add to that in Gracia.

I really believe the best option for twin looking characters are sps/ee or sh/se. You could have them both nuke up until level 20, even after that you could have the healer help w/ windstrike till 24, then head off to EG where the healer could nuke the undead while the nuker took on the other mobs. After that you could get more specialized...
I didn't do it on purpose to make twins, I just happen to prefer the look of LE over any other race in the game, but I've been duoing EE/SpS for several years. :)
